I've been forcefemmed by our new AI overlords apparently.

Some damnable AI overview from a google search of my name, repeatedly incorrectly identifying me as female.

Seemed fun, so I decided to do the 9 games thing as well. These are the 9 games that most impacted my life as a child through young adulthood.

My 9 most influential video games in my life, consisting of Finall Fantasy 3 (6) on the SNES, X-Com: UFO Defenese on DOS, Phantasy Star Online on Dreamcast, Star Trek: Birth of the Federation on PC, Morrowind on PC, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 on PC, Diablo 2 on PC, Star Wars Galaxies on PC, and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam on XBox 360

There is a game here, but it doesn't to turn on the power. Part of me loves this game, because it's so bad that I have stuff to talk about even the second time through. Like the grenade blaster! How'd they make the game's equivalent of the infinite rocket launcher kinda bad? youtu.be/O53ABb8K6VU

Nori got me my Christmas present early and it's awesome. I've spent most of today transferring my collection over to it. Look at this absolute TOME of a binder! Sure makes browsing cards for deck building a lot easier.

A very large, like absolutely outrageously large card binder filled with Digimon Card Game cards

I finally beat Digimon Story: Time Stranger this morning and realized right near the end that every villain in the story is trapped by the past, so much so that they don't live in the present and can't look towards making a better future. It made me realize that applies to real-world villains too.

@norithics.bsky.social and I had a fascinating conversation recently about if ACAB applied to RoboCop. We eventually came to the consensus that within that universe, where most petty criminals are tantamount to The Joker With A Rocket Launcher, RoboCop is a somewhat measured and valid response.
