My familiar is a 16 year old three legged cat called Marilyn, she’s a bitch but she deserves the world ✨

I’m always working on new stuff, my main projects are the minor tarot deck for my Occult Ornithology Tarot but I’m working on more fun bookmarks and patches in my spare time

I’m also super inspired by occult revival art, 60s horror and the music of Blue Oyster Cult

Had a lot of fun working like this again so incorporated my more current design sensibilities with my Pidgeonary style from 7 years ago and designed some cute little wooden pins

Really trying to be loose and underwork it to find textures and a style I like, it’s nice feeling it out.

Been trying to find a style I like for the project I’m working on, so far a more painterly style feels better

Combatting my art block by doing a little sketchbook page of palm nut vulture studies.

Little return to the style of my Pidgeonary, which was difficult 7 years later but also quite satisfying! Designed this as a little wooden standee potentially

Currently self teaching myself photography as my 2025 goal of relying less on the internet for reference images. Today I saw the UK’s smallest bird, a lovely gold crest who moved so fast and was so far away I only managed to get this pic (cropped and zoomed)

First Bluesky post with this illustration of a rook from my latest book 🖤 Rooks or Hroc in old English have historically been regarded as weather omens 🖤 staying in their rookery all day or returning in the day was a sign of rain and the birds staying away was a sign of fair weather!
