A please @labouruk.bsky.social, stop saying that it's up to us to stop Reform. YOU could stop a Reform government in 2029, by introducing the proportional representation so many in the country have been clamouring for. The only way Farage can win is through our crazy first-past-the-post system.

The Government has agreed to incorporate @MaxWilkinson.bsky.social's Sunshine Bill into their Future Homes Standard. All new homes from 2028 will come with solar panels. This will reduce bills for owners, reduce pressure on the energy grid and fight climate change. It’s a Lib Dem win-win-win.

The government must work with our European partners on retaliatory measures to hit Trump and his cronies where it hurts, unless he drops these tariffs. It's time to show that Britain stands with our allies and we won’t be bullied into submission.

I had the odd doubter two weeks ago, but I'll say it again: "Donald Trump is the most significant threat to NATO." Whatever our government says on the surface, it had better be working tirelessly with EU allies to manage that threat and minimise the potential for future threats.

One year on from his arrest Dr Hussam Abu Safiya still held without charge in an Israeli prison, tortured, deprived of food and kept in isolation. Since the start of the Gaza genocide the Israeli army has killed around 1,700 medical workers and detained hundreds. #SilenceIsComplicity aje.io/rf3rmo

What do you suppose attracts a man who misused public money as an MP, to a party run by a man who misused public money as an MEP? Zahawi and Farage are birds of a feather and if you vote for Reform, you'll get Conservative.

I'm going to boost this again tonight because it gets forgotten so often. When people choose at the ballot box, they choose the Lib Dems, as we start to think about the local election campaigns for May 2026, this is going to be the story. Let's hope that the media start paying attention.

No Kemi, Trump threatening to invade a NATO ally is not a "second order issue." It’s a direct challenge to Britain’s security and the future of NATO.
BBC Politics Tweet reading: "Greenland... is a second order issue"

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch says there are more important issues in global politics than Donald Trump's attempts to acquire Greenland, such as the protests in Iran

My statement on Trump’s reckless trade war.
Today Donald Trump has launched a destructive trade war that threatens the jobs and living standards of people across the UK and around the world.

We need to end this trade war as quickly as possible - and that means standing firm with our allies against Trump’s attempts to divide and rule.

The Prime Minister should bring our Commonwealth and European partners together in a coalition of the willing against Trump’s tariffs, using retaliatory tariffs where necessary and signing new trade deals with each other where possible.

If the Government gives in to Trump's threats, it will only encourage him to use the same bullying tactics again and again.
