Got the Bootrom back on with no issues and went for some fine dining to celebrate. I have to wait till Monday to test the board because the rest of the computer is in my office.

Attempting to revive my PowerMac G3 B&W’s original motherboard by reflashing its bad BootRom with a good dump from the replacement board. Now I need the willpower of a thousand gods to not screw up getting it back on the board.

Turns out I wasn’t getting any video on the #Macintosh Plus because the pin that handles video from the motherboard had a broken joint on the analog board. I get a really good image now but the voltages are too low to boot, most likely an issue with the optocoupler. #vintageapple
