If you want to see indie projects succeed, you have to spearhead the support for them. Talk openly about other people’s work and how much you like it, draw fanart, reshare content about the project, send it to a friend, leave comments on every update, donate money, etc.

more the art - by the time I reached pg 50, my illustrations had improved drastically. The first chapter seemed odd by comparison. Feels more cohesive now. The benefit of doing everything myself is I only have to adhere to my own timelines. If it's gutsy it's only because I don't know any better lol

I think it's just the least amount of effort. Lol. I've got six months of finished pages banked, about a year's worth of finished art - just need to letter it. Overall it's close to half finished.

It was really written to be consumed all at once (same with volume 3 tbh). I have roughly six months worth of pages banked while I wrap up another project. Not interested in paywalls, but there'll likely be a crowdfunding campaign in the future for a print run.

What a great question! So Volume 1 was very much written episodically and released first as single issues, but the time between releases was way too long. For volume 2 I wanted to try something different. There are three "chapters", but the first two are more tangential to the main story.
