All future actions by 47’s admin should be assigned to the republican administration and/or republicans. This will have several effects: GOP legislators will have to take responsibilities for their association with 47 or stand up for what they don’t like. 47 will not get the attention he so craves.

It was such a huge thing for us in elementary school- lining up for our turn to have a sugar cube dosed with polio vaccine. My parents were terrified of polio having grown up in the era when you could catch polio from going swimming or just being with someone else who was infected. Why go back?

The children of the ‘50s knew about polio. FDR and the March of Dimes. Classmates with leg braces and crutches. Iron lungs. I had both the Salk and Sabin vaccines. Even at 6 I was glad to get my Salk jab. I knew it could save my life.
