When you compare the new concept Citroen 2cv to the old classic there are a few similarities but I do think they have missed some of the quintessential elements that make it feel like the original car.

227 Elizabeth Street. Currently a rather ugly office building next to Hyde Park. My vision would be more akin to a cultural building, serving as perhaps an annex to the Sydney Museum with 6 varying floor plates and gallery's complimenting the Anzac memorial and Sydney Museum nearby.

Trying to understand what they are doing here? The site was controversial because of the demolition of the stone terraces. What I can see is they have retained the terraces removed the entrance portico (hidden by a tree) and absorbed it into the tower. onechapelplace.com#proposal

This is a terrible bastardisation of Embankment Place by the late Terry Farrell. Key post modern elements erased for mediocrity by Hopkins Architects in London. Sage green just adds to the miserable colour palette.

It was altered in the 1930's with the towers and much of the Edwardian detail removed. The only thing that would be beneficial would for it be restored back to it's original state which is clearly not happening but at least it's being used again. theisleofthanetnews.com/2026/08/03/t...

Weird that people of Hove who are very vocal about heritage intend their proposal to look like some sort of 90's business park with a dodgy green roof in their alternate proposal.
