At the counter, Berry points to a cup of coffee. "Your daughter left this."
Swap holds the coffee, contemplating it, before taking a big gulp.
She is pleasantly surprised, commenting, "Hey! That's pretty good!"
The next panel shows her motionless, face-down, dried up; a hollow shell that shows no remnant of her former joy.

As Swap carries a burlap sack (presumably full of stolen goods), she is confronted. A hand holds handcuffs to her face, the officer says, "Alright, you know the drill."
Swap pulls out a single dollar bill and smugly offers it. "Hm! This might change your mind..."
The bill is a handmade creation. A one thousand "Swap Dollar" featuring her face drawn on it.
With tears welling in her big eyes, choked up, she utters, "swap dollar."

She turns it on and aims it around the corner. Soup watches, as she says, "That hat's coming off!"
Chloe walks down the sidewalk, barely takes note of the loud whirring, and is caught off guard. She is blown into the air, turned upside-down, and her hat still firmly on. The other two are in shock at this sight.

She pulls out a burlap sack with a dollar symbol on it. The cashier looks down in disappointment, as he opens the cash register.
The colors go grayscale, as he solemnly presents a single, large fish as the only content within the register.
Swap contemplates this.
In the next panel, she and her kids, Flick and Soup, eagerly await the fish to finish cooking on the grill. They all wear matching designs that read, "I ❤️ 🐟"

The Spick-n-Span duo (two robots, one has cat ears, and the other has dog ears) are at home.
The cat-eared one reads the newspaper, upset, lamenting, "Things were nicer when I was a kid..."
The dog-eared one looks back from cleaning a window, with a sympathetic expression.
The second panel seems to be a flashback, in sepia tone.
A little cat is playing with a doll and toy car, completely oblivious to the screams of agony, pleads for help, and the burning landscape that is just outside.
