📊 The analysis of data from the NIHR-funded CoBalT trial - a major UK study of CBT for treatment-resistant depression - found that 73% of improvement in depression symptoms after CBT could be explained by increases in mental health literacy. 📄Read the paper: www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....

We looked at mental health literacy (MHL) as a mediator between CBT & depressive symptoms & found that perceived MHL mediated 73% of treatment response - this may be key in understanding effectiveness of CBT 🧠 www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.... @capcbristol.bsky.social @bnssgresearch.bsky.social
