Made a zine instead of ranting on social media about the rise of weight loss casual conversations lately and being bombarded with ads for dieting jabs. It's up as digital download on my ko-fi account for members: ko-fi.com/penfight #diyzines
a zine cover that says: stop talking to me about your weight loss! with a sad facethe inside of the zine, cut and paste text on squared paperzine page that says "fatness is morally neutral!"

'How Amazon Powers ICE' is a mini infozine by zinester @charliettea.bsky.social, which explains how Amazon's cloud computing support ICE and other organisations, as well as powering the genocide of Palestinians. Download a copy for free: ko-fi.com/s/85201d24e6 👈
The image shows a close-up of a mini zine on a wooden table, held down at the bottom by some Caucasian fingertips.

The cover of the zine is white with black text, which reads: HOW AMAZON POWERS I.C.E.

Below the word Amazon is an illustration of a cloud with a CCTV camera protruding from the Amazon logo.

At the bottom of the cover is a black machine gun.

#brainfog #zine is available now as a hard copy or digital download at ko-fi.com/charliettea This zine has a little something extra: a centerfold! The full page collage is revealed if you fold the middle spread up. Full ID in alt text.
ID: Some photos of a collage-based quarter page size zine on a white background. The first photo is of an original full page collage, which is the centerfold of the zine. The collage is of a crying figure wearing a yellow shirt and being constricted by a green snake spiralling up their body. The snake turns into a green arm with its hand covering one of their eyes. There is a blue background made of mostly water and sky pieces. The next photo shows the cover of the zine. The cover includes the title Brain Fog in ransom note style cut-out letters. The author's name, charliettea, and the date it was finished, May 2026, is on the bottom. The cover image is of a pale blue cracked profile of a head among ripped pieces of scaley black and white. The first inside spread features headless people walking and boating through a red swamp. There is a snake and a skull in the corners. Cut-out text says battery check, something's wrong. The final photo is again of the centerfold collage, this time a copy printed in the zine itself. End ID.

Hi friends! I forgot to share what my patreons received in March: one mini zine by me and one mini zine by my partner. #zines #zine #travelzine #portlandzine #portland
Zine 1 ID: the first mini zine in the photos of this post is titled Portland Travel Zine. It is mostly collage based and contains a few illustrations and lots of ephemera from Charlie and Liam's visit to Portland. The cover includes a street map and a rainbow. The first inside spread continues the map and has a sticker from Sweetpea Bakery as well as a drawing of a train and a pastry. The next two pages contain face mask wrapper and a big rainbow disco ball which is the logo for Iridescent Daydream. The next pages contain some wrapping paper, a post-it note from an ACLU magazine, and stickers from Portal tea and Junbi tea. The back cover features drawings of a sea lion head and tail sticking out of the water of the river on the map.

#stickers have been restocked! As usual you can find these on my shop: ko-fi.com/charliettea/shop/sticker #atranspersonpeedhere #therapyisnotenough #transstickers #transpride
Two photos of stickers scattered on a wood table. One sticker design is a shooting star with the trans pride flag as a tail and the trans symbol in the star. The text says a trans person peed here. The other sticker design is black text in various hand-drawn fonts. The text says therapy is not enough, I need trump to - (the last word is covered up by other stickers, but it's a three letter word that starts with the letters D and I.

A photo of the cover of a quarter page sized zine. Some decorative papers and a beige gel plate print with a grid pattern and scattered circles make up the background. A red three pointed maple leave is in the top center of the page. The title, Brumation, is pasted on top of the leaf. The author's name, charlie t tea, is at the bottom of the page. The text is typed in a typrewriter kind of font.A photo of an inside spread of the zine. The white paper has some circular tea stains on it, and there are some ripped, yellowed pages as background color. There are a couple mushroom and fern stickers as well as a few orange ish yellow ginkgo leaves drawn on the pages. a very dark purple brown maple leaf is pasted on the upper right corner. Some text is typed out and cut and pasted on the pages. The text says, "Brumation: a state of sluggishness, inactivity, or torpor exhibited by reptiles (such as snakes or lizards) during winter or extended periods of low temperature. Brumation is a natural process that allows healthy reptiles handle stressful environmental conditions such as cold temperatures, drought, and/or extended periods of extreme heat."A photo of another two page spread inside the zine. This one features small decorative mushroom papers in a couple corners, a red ink print of a maple leaf in one corner, a few marker drawn seedpods twirling down the page, and a marker drawn horse chestnut as well. There are sage green heart shapes in the center of the page which were printed with heart shaped bubble wrap. Decorative green leaf paper and a scrap of an old yellowed title page of the fall of the house of usher are also in the background. The text scattered on the page says, "perennial plants have periods of dormancy. Some mammals hibernate through winter. Reptiles brumate when it gets cold."A photo of Kira the black cat sitting up on a grey couch in front of a white folding table. The point of view from which this picture was taken is sitting next to Kira on the couch, and she is looking at the camera with a somewhat annoyed expression. Her eyes are greenish yellow and she has a few white furs on her chest. There is a zine in progress sitting on a mat on the table, and if you zoom in you might see a spot of drool on the corner of the zine. There are a couple books and scraps on the table as well as an open laptop. Behind Kira on the couch there are some assorted papers and a blue nintendo switch lite. A pillow and a purple blanket are squished in the very back.

Mutual aid is Indigenous. Mutual aid is Black. In my #mutualaid #zine I briefly touch on the history of MA. It's important to recognize MA's Black and Indigenous roots. The practice is older than the phrase. #zines #communitycare #fundraising #diy #selfpublished
Page 6 of a quarter page size zine. The background is orange and features a slice of cantelope and a large pumpkin. The text says, "Mutual Aid is Indigenous.
Long before the term existed, Indigenous communities have practiced mutual support and resource redistribution to help the community thrive.
One example of this is the ceremony of Potlatch. Potlatch involves dancing, theater, storytelling, and giving receiving food & other gifts. Canada made this ceremony illegal from 1885 to 1951, resulting in arrests and imprisonment."Page 7 of a quarter page size zine. The background is orange and white paper with floral designs. The text says, "Mutual Aid is Black.
The Free African Society was created by ministers Richard Allen and Absalom Jones in Philadelphia in the year 1787. It was a nondenominational religious society dedicated to helping newly free members of the Black community. Members contributed one shilling per month, and the society provided financial, educational, social, and medical support for its members. They buried the dead, gave financial support to widows and family members, found apprenticeships & paid tuition for kids, and helped the sick during the yellow fever epidemic of 1793."

Another page from my mutual aid zine. #zine #zines #mutualaid #mutualaidzine #communitycare #community #diy
Page 4 of a quarter page sized zine. The heading says mutual aid is not... and there are two bullet points below it. The first point says charity (the rich ir the government giving to the poor). Charity reinforces the hierarchy of wealth & ties morality to wealth. The second point says conditional. There are no eligibility requirements (no curfews, no courses, no cooperation with police). The background of this page is decorated with red mushrooms.

Second page of my #mutualaid #zine all about what mutual aid is (notes taken from Dean Spade's book). ko-fi.com/s/20176aed86 All proceeds from this zine go to folks who need support right now. #zines #mutualaidzine #fundraisingzine #communitycare
A photo of a zine opened to page 2. The background is a macro photo of light pink leaves in a sort of artichoke shape. Typed text is cut and pasted on top. The heading says mutual aid is ... and there are three heart shaped bullet points below it. The first point says working collectively to meet each other's needs in a world whose systems fail to meet them. The second point says the radical act of caring for each other while working to change the world. The third point says inherently anti-authoritation: we do things together.

1/ You have until October 20th to comment against Stephen Miller's "America First Legal" and their petition to require a passport or Real ID to vote nationwide. www.regulations.gov/document/EAC... Voter fraud is < 0.0001%. This'd only make it harder for citizens without ID to vote - nothing more.

Why do we so highly value independence? Who really benefits from us not helping each other out? You know where to find it: ko-fi.com/charliettea/... #disability #zine #disabilityzine #disabled #ableism #independence #selfsufficient #zines
A mini zine sitting on a wood table. The title is rethinking independence. There is a disability pride flag on the cover, and text overlaid on the flag says as a disabled person, I'm not 100% independent. But truthfully, neither is anyone else. AI art is not "a tool for disabled people", it's harmful to disabled artists who depend on digital commissions to afford basic necessities. stop using disabled people as a shield for your lack of ethics.
