A lot of the thinking about this seems focused on the collapse leading up to the midterms, but I don't think many have considered the impact of a potential wave midterm result accelerating the existing collapse. The change to mainstream or even just beltway media narratives alone could be huge.

F this. I grew up in a state school town that had a decent population of foreign students. They paid full tuition subsidizing in-state students who could go to a school that people crossed oceans to go to for peanuts. Some of them taught 10 y/o me cricket and I taught them baseball and football.

Maybe? I think you might be overestimating the average person's knowledge about planes. One thing these shows have taught me is that pulling out of such dive should probably be done slowly given the high levels of stress it could put on the airframe but I wonder if I'd remember that in the moment

If you find it is of any benefit, there are also prescription meds that target the same melatonin receptors that might provide more relief or might end up being cheaper than OTC depending on your prescription benefits. Ramelteon is one of this class of drugs.

There's really no technological reason Airbus or Boing couldn't do the same thing. Given 2 pilots in these planes at all times the use cases would be extremely rare, perhaps stuff like this or when pilots foresee potential incapacitation (e.g. fire, depressurization with oxygen tanks not working).
