My @britishecologicalsociety.org POST Fellowship with @commonseac.parliament.uk has finished - an amazing experience. So many highlights, and working on the Sec of State for Defra session, sitting alongside EAC's Chair on the day was a big one. Back to PhD-ing now and richer for the experience.

GOOD news! RSPB Geltsdale has secured even more vital habitat for wildlife, forever. 💚 That means space for Red Squirrels, Ring Ouzels, Hen Harriers & more to flourish, healthier rivers for Otters & amphibians, and farmland buzzing with life... www.rspb.org.uk/whats-happen...

1/ The #Curlew is Britain’s largest wader, but sadly also one of its most threatened. Previous BTO research has shown that this is largely due to the number of chicks fledged that are able to survive to reach breeding age. #Ornithology #UKBirding

I recently had my first go at some secondary school outreach running a workshop station on camera traps for groups of Year 8 students. I did a short blog about the experience if anyone would like to know how I got on! Read here: www.york.ac.uk/anthropocene...
