This moment, from the DC Universe Rebirth event #1 in 2016. Wally has just spent the whole comic trying to get anyone from his past life to remember him not even his wife notices him, he finally gets to Barry Allen, and he seems to not notice him as well. At this point he is accepting his fate, saying good bye to a man who does not know who he is as he fades from existence. Barry's eyes shoot open, he remembers: "Wally?" He reaches out and pulls him out of the speed force. The line from the next page where the two embrace always gets me: "How could I ever forget you?" I hadn't really read much beyond the Dark Knight Returns when it came to capes up to this point, and this story really did something to change my brain chemistry I swear.

The last page of Absolute Martian Man Hunter #1 from earlier this year. Really fun that if you hold it up to the light the Martian and John's faces line up, with the Martian revealing itself in full, very cool, very fun, using the physical comics medium to the full potential.

The Goddamned: Before the Flood #5 Cain has been asked to stay and help build civilization again. He has paused, keeping his back turned to the woman. "Okay I'll" He's cut off. A large "Schunk" in yellow can be seen at the bottom of the panel. AND THEN YOU TURN THE PAGE. UGH. JUST. AH. One of the hardest page turns in a comic I've ever read. After reading that whole story you know what's coming and it really gut punches you.

This. Spellbinders #2. A girl can be seen writing on a calendar, an event "Party at Kris's 7:00 Chad" on Saturday the 1st. But the thing that has always bothered me is the calendar itself like ... Why is Saturday the third day on the calendar? Why does this calendar start on Thursday?

Gothotika, Mistress of Death! As I finish up on a few projects, I'm uploading some of my older art before I post new stuff. This one is a piece I worked on from Aug - Nov on and off in 2020 on an OC that I really came up with just to have a fun Lady Death/ Purgatori like character.

A woman with horns and pale violet skin is carried out of a mausoleum by a horde of zombies which she controls through glowing magenta magic. A crescent moon hangs high over a forest of gnarled and withered trees, the leaves blow in the breeze.
