Tiny preview of my zine page art for @dragonageannual.art! Unsurprisingly, all of my pitches were for subterranean locations... Pre-orders for the physical calendar, zine, and merch end Sep 30th at shop.dragonageannual.art! So much wonderful art and writing in store for you. #DragonAgeAnnual

Map endpapers for The Broken Binding's edition of the Green Bone Saga by @fondalee.bsky.social. Tried to convey the plot, characters, and cultures through paraphernalia like Anden's band & the car keys, and diegetic media like pamphlets & TV broadcasts. Prints at www.inprnt.com/gallery/char...
A map that occupies a two-page spread, rotated such that it is taller than it is wide. Shows the city of Janloon from Jade City, rendered in a 1960s print style with predominantly green, teal, and orange hues. Paraphernalia surround the map, referencing characters or events from the plot.A two-page spread map of Kekon in predominantly brown and purple hues, with the map taking up the right page and the left page filled with paraphernalia, including travel pamphlets of landmarks in Janloon, a child's drawing of Hilo with a talon knife, jade bangles, glasses that are partly shattered, car keys with crushed jade beads, an anatomy diagram used in traditional medicine, a monochrome photograph of two children, a scrap of stone marked 1124, a vial and a syringe, and chrysanthemum and heaven's breath cuttings.A map that occupies a two-page spread showing continents and countries. It is projected on a wall, and hanging TV screens showing news broadcasts of events and characters in the book surround it.

Posting this again because a lot of people said they found it helpful! Guide to ALT text: www.perkins.org/resource/how...
ALT text copied and pasted from the linked website: An infographic titled “How To Write Alt Text” featuring a photo of a capybara. Parts of alt text are divided by color, including identify who, expression, description, colour, and interesting features. The finished description reads “A capybara looking relaxed in a hot spa. Yellow yuzu fruits are floating in the water, and one is balanced on the top of the capybara’s head.”

Alt version. I'd like to think that if I had Manfred giving thumbs up in the background, I could ace any speech/ test/ performance.
In the format of the four paneled 'Murder is Okay' meme, with line drawings. The first panel, top left, shows Lace Harding, with black text saying: it's okay to ask for help. Top right panel, Emmrich: you're not a burden. Manfred the skeleton gives a thumbs up in the background. Bottom left panel, Spite taking the form of Lucanis: murder is okay. Bottom right panel, Bellara: your feelings matter.

Team affirmations 👍🏼 Excited for #dragonage #veilguard and needed to draw this meme so I could make stickers for my stuff.

Neve draws conclusions. #dragonage #nevegallus
Drawing of Neve Gallus in an inked line style, standing in front of a board lit by a hovering lamp. Paraphernalia and drawings are pinned to the board, forming a body of information.

Veilguard coming soon has got me making fan art again. Been chipping away at an illus based on Down Among the Dead Men, my fav TN story, but I fear I won't finish it before the game arrives. Some sketches: Emmrich maps out undead possession stages. Manfred diagrams spiced tea. #dragonage
Drawing of Professor Emmrich Volkarin in an inked line style, in front of a blackboard with a chalk diagram of a skeleton and scribbled labels, handwriting vaguely based on the Sutterlin script.Manfred the skeleton in a similar inked line style, holding a tray with a teapot and cup. Steam spiralling out from the teapot creates a cloud akin to a thought bubble, in which Manfred visualises the components of the tea: leaves, spices like cinnamon and clove, sugar.

Hello world! Gonna share art and be more active here, since Twitter is a ghost of its old self and IG isn't great for convos. I'm a freelance illustrator making maps and art for fantasy and YA books and games. Love a good diegetic map and what it can do for worldbuilding. www.charisloke.com/maps
