Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 06/10/2026I hope it was just a precaution taking off Ings, but considering his recent record with injuries I'm not so sure 110
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 06/10/2026Quarcoo is a new one to me... Good to see Cross getting a chance too 200
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 06/10/2026Fighting adverts on the Bucks Herald, this is a key bit: "The entire site lies in the green belt. The applicant acknowledges that some elements would be inappropriate development, but argues that sporting and community benefits provide the “very special circumstances” needed to justify permission."bucksherald.co.ukWycombe Wanderers launches new training ground application amid concernsWycombe Wanderers has unveiled plans for a new training ground to bring its first team and academy together on golf course land in Buckinghamshire. 110
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 06/10/2026I think this is a very good appointment for them. Arguably a much better fit for them than he was for us. It's a tough league but they've got a settled squad full of the characters he likes, they could do very well this season. 010
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 27/09/2026Kinda frustrating as both of their goals are us just not being very good, but both of our goals were us being very good! 110
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 26/09/2026Fair play to Josh Scowen for our equaliser, & Fred for the assist. It's big that we got back into that game. Still tinged with disappointment as you are right we were so much better second half. Tactical changes were spot on, Parker made a big difference. 120
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 26/09/2026Sooo bloody frustrating. Stupid pass, stupid play, stupid mistakes, Shot ourselves in the foot AGAIN 220
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 26/09/2026Really disappointing, so slow to get started again but punished this half. The problems under Duff haven't gone away, but I don't really know what it is we're missing - or how we sort it. We don't have the ability to dominate, or the presence to scrape results 110
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 26/09/2026Improved towards the end of the half without creating much. Henderson having a bit of a stinker. Not sure how it's likely to go, depends if we improve tactically in the second-half 110
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 26/09/2026Largely down to how Reading are playing, but Henderson just can't make a difference. On the plus side, very impressed with Wildsmith! 010
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 26/09/2026Reading are (mostly) standing off us, so we have a congested space to pass through... & don't have the ability to do it (Woodrow is key, but he can't keep hold of it). Reading very comfortable in their job, space out wide & happy to loop it over our defence 110
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 26/09/2026Bit of a chess game so far. Reading have a lot more conviction in what they are doing. We can't effectively get it up the pitch so far. Not awful, but not sure where we're going to great any chances from 110
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 26/09/2026Just feel sorry for Van Sas at this point! Good team, interesting that Grimmer is the replacement CB option, not Anders. No Junior or Mothersille either. Think we'll struggle today though 130
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 25/09/2026There has been an undertone of this for a while now. It won't be sustainable forever and we can't rely on potential promotion or expensive player sales - I can't see either of those happening any time soon. 100
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 25/09/2026Keep waiting for things to settle down and have a prolonged period of stability, but I'm just not sure that's our club any more! We're always only a few weeks away from a possible goalkeeper being signed. 100
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 25/09/2026Speaks well, as you would expect. Not sure what to make of it to be honest, there's no denying his quality and in-theory he should be way above this level - but I also don't know if he'll be as prolific as he once was. 100
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 25/09/2026What is going on?! More experience coming in I guess... 020
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 24/09/2026It was Vircavs for me as well but I'm not sure why beyond recognising the name, it was Mark West after that for me as well, who was a lot further down the list!! I started going in 92 I think so it's mainly those well into the O'Neill era when I really know the names 231
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 24/09/2026What is that a "thing" in modern football?! A mate of mine made a point about the psychology-aspect when 2 miss out on starting instead of 1 - it's less likely to create animosity between the keepers. It still doesn't makes sense though as Moore clearly isn't ever going to play for us. 120
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 24/09/2026They REALLY don't rate Van Sas do they?! I've no idea what this obsession is about having so many keepers, what does Stuart Moore actually do? 100
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 24/09/2026I thought they same, I like the idea of some legacy kits being released every now and then. 210
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 22/09/2026So American. That trophy has already gone to the dogs, I can't imagine this makes it any better! 110
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 22/09/2026This was surprisingly fun from @fourfourtwo.comfourfourtwo.com442GOALSPlay our new 442GOALS game and build an XI of Premier League legends! 000
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 19/09/2026I know highlights don't tell the full story, but other than two long-range efforts they didn't really create anything (not did we mind). Much more like it defensively even if it stunted us a bit attacking-wise. I'm fine with that away from home 000
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 19/09/2026To be fair to Duff he predicted the league would be really close this season. Lots of good teams potentially taking points off each other could make for a lower points tally getting promotion. We'll see how it pans out, Reading will be another tough game! 030
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 19/09/2026I felt like we were heading towards some better results with Duff, but it still feels a big change since he left. I don't think we'd hold out for the win today with him in charge 120
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 19/09/2026Just think, if we manage to keep a clean sheet we might actually win this...! 110
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 19/09/2026I did wonder that, Henderson behind Wareham? Maybe Scowen adding some bite might help us keep the goals-conceded down! 110
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 19/09/2026Back 3 again I assume, not sure what's happening with the midfield though! 100
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 18/09/2026Unstoppable was the right word. Got to have the record for goals after taking it round the 'keeper as well 110
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 18/09/2026He's 12 now (!) & just has no interest 😞. I've been very conscious not to force my interests on them but I always hoped it might still happen one day! 020
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 18/09/2026My son's first game! I've tried a few times but he's never got the @wwfc.com (or football) bug, maybe one day 🙏🏻 What a player McCleary was (is) though! 140
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 17/09/2026Agreed, what be did to help out when Blooms left was massive. He essentially gave up on playing for a while to help out Sam Grace & fill in for roles that had left 020
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 17/09/2026Fixed-term consultancy role suggests it's not a permanent thing, but a shrewd move nonetheless! 120
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 17/09/2026Wow, didn't see this coming at all! I'm no expert in coaching but it feels a great decision to me 140
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 16/09/2026I'm sensing some propaganda from Mr. Cecil with his questions in recent interviews. There seems a real undertone of pushing positivity and encouragement (which is no bad thing). Perhaps a suggestion this was an issue for Duffman? 000
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 15/09/2026I know I'm just patting myself on the back here, but I'm really enjoying how well @wwfc-news.bsky.social is working! 160
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 15/09/2026I was expecting him too. I assume it's an injury rather than not being included. 010
Richard Chapman @chapmanio.dev · 15/09/2026Good to see Keita starting, I assume at left-back in a back 4. Great to see Junior back as well! Also a legendary @wwfc.com surname on that bench! 140
