Shunning technology like a luddite. Back when the FOMO kicks in.

Fenris spoilering really GETS MY GOAT. Honestly. Trying to help you here bucko. Stop it.

I already have that print. It is beautiful.

I've added leftover Middle-Earth zines to my shop. I signed my Galadriel pieces and each book comes with a Galadriel postcard. Scoobtoobins.com

We have been laughing at Nicolas Cage doing an impression of Nicolas Cage acting. He’s THE BEST

Maybe I’m not in the mood to work through a new industrial revolution?

That is the funniest thing I have ever seen

Sat in my car for far too long enjoying that cold, cold air.

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

Every year I declare that I am getting air con installed. Then the shit weather arrives and I FORGET. As if it never happened.

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

I did too. Tempted to try the Star Wars one.

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Starfield has lost it’s fun again. I just wish there was another layer there to stop it getting samey. The NPC interactions are better than bethesda generally manages but still the lost opportunities and lack of continuity across different DLCs is meh. Larian ruined other developer’s NPCs 😆

To be fair, silver looks great in photos, but even working find she was worth maybe £2 - £2.5k. She’s a phase 3 (one if the reasons I can’t find a donor engine) so she’s going to become a donor for other 916-series spider and GTVs. Maybe she’ll help keep others on the road.

There are no examples I can find of someone completing a conversion on one of these either, which says a lot.

020

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

I have looked, I’m an EV convert for daily driving and the idea of so many fewer aged parts failing works for me - but this would be an expensive strip out and rebuild - I 100% would have to pay someone else to do it - so I’d want a tidier one cosmetically if I was paying that much…

Now I’m going to have to investigate…

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Despite my best efforts, and the best efforts of a brilliant specialist. My baby Alfa is not seeing another summer on the road, her engine is dead. :(

210

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

My beautiful Alfa Spider is soon to be no more. Catastrophic mechanical failure which means the engine is toast - too rare to get a replacement easily and too difficult to fix cheaply enough to be worth it. Bah!

Interesting take. I thought destroy was effectively a synthetic genocide and echoed what the Quarians had attempted to do to the Geth. Lets assume synthetics return - they will quickly learn that biological life is their enemy. Synthesis felt like breaking the cycle.

“D&D in space” is the kind of generic “don’t understand D&D or sci-fi” description you’d use to explain it to your boomer investors who were too serious to have watched Star Trek and think it’s all nonsense but knew BG3 made a shit ton of money.

I have spent so much time around that place. 8 years working for SSW and a couple of those with the folk that ran what was the education centre in my team. I love this little part of the county deeply.

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 10/05/2026

We’re post-truth. Well… some places more than others. 😬 Orwell would not be proud.

110

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 05/05/2026

I haven’t spoilered them and genuinely wasn’t aware of this version… I know there are a few where the team are missing or dead but this one was something of a surprise

110

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

Yes! I did a new game + and… well… everyone is dead. Not my fault. No spoilers unless you want… so anyway I’m not going to be disappointing anyone if I go rogue…

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

Don’t think you can start crimson fleet until you start UC 😂

100

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

Yes. This one is a must. Shocking - pointless, not even a puzzle really.

010

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

It was the worst. I DID NOT KNOW - and felt led to help the other thinking Sarah would be ok. She was not ok.

020

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

The terran DLC has me grimacing a little too. You have never seen them before and they are a mystery new faction but you automatically call them “Terrans” without explicitly knowing? Ok. Ok… and now we have an HK-47-alike. Cool. It is fun though.

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

That’s right - vote Green. It doesn’t have to be a shitshow of unequal struggle and blaming “small boats” for the outcomes of an endlessly growing wealth divide. We can do better. Thank you for your attention to this matter! 😜

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

I’m tired of AI-generated copy. It just reuses best practice learned with no context until the structure is burned into your retinas from seeing it so often. But it’s also made me tired of non-AI content that uses that same best practices. Tired of the stuff my own profession puts out. 😭

010

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 30/04/2026

Sad times. And their DLC and the game will still be making the publishers money. I guess no patches, no bug fixes though?

110

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 29/04/2026

But UC Vanguard is absolutely the best set of missions. They clearly spent the most time there.

110

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 29/04/2026

I have never stooped to doing a day job. Maybe I will try that before pushing into the DLCs

110

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

It has everything a film should have. It is complete.

010

Mike @chapfromstaffs.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

You gotta start the vanguard missions to be able to hoist the jolly roger
