Fun Fact: The Fishhead Nebula (NGC 896) shows many dark pillars or fingers pointing towards the center. All created by stellar winds and intense radiation. 30 hours of narrowband data with my telescope #astrophotography #Photography

The Spider Nebula in Auriga - 10,000 light years away is home to a stellar nursery where stars are being born. Radiation from young, hot stars creates the beautiful glow. Image captured using 40 hours of narrowband data through a 12" telescope #astrophotography #photography

Bubble Up! The Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635) is not a perfect bubble. Irregular shape due to complex interactions. Still, it is a beautiful + colorful expanding bubble. 30 hours of narrowband data through my telescope #photography #astrophotography

Fun Fact: NGC 1333 is a chaotic masterpiece of stellar birth. Contains an unusual number of Herbig-Haro objects—vivid patches of nebulosity where jets from newborn stars collide with the surrounding gas. #Astrophotography

Sh2-91: The other Veil Nebula in Cygnus. This supernova remnant is much dimmer than Veil, but still beautiful. I captured this 5-panel #astrophotography mosaic over 11 nights through HA and OIII filters totaling 30 hours of data. #Photography #Astronomy

Fun Fact: Sh2-261 (Lower’s Nebula) was actually discovered by an amateur astronomer, Harold Lower, in 1939 using a home-built camera. I took 30 hours of data to do this target justice. #astrophotography #Photography

It took 30 hrs of data through a 12" SCT to bring out the structure of the M90 galaxy in Virgo. It is considered elliptical and spiral (characteristics of both). Fun fact: the spectrum is blue-shifted (it is coming towards us) #Astrophotography #photography #Astronomy

At 23 million light-years away in the constellation Canes Venatici, the Galaxy M106 shows some amazing details. Adding 10 hours of HA data to 30 hours of RGB helps highlight star forming regions. Take with my telescope #Astrophotography #photography

With narrowband data, there is no correct color palette. 3 examples with the same data. Option1: Red=SII, Green=HA, Blue=OIII Option2: Same as option 1 but channels are balanced Option3: Dynamic blending of red channel with SII and HA. #Astrophotography #Photography
