Probably a year ago VGen's monthly challenge theme was "wedding" and I was feeling motivated to submit a piece, but then life happened. Anyways I finally got it finished today and I'm happy with a lot of elements. A pleasant wedding mood isn't inspiring to me, so I turned it into something darker.

Black and white image of a vampire bride about to bite the neck of her unconscious groom. Their wedding bands glint in the darkness of the church and she keeps a firm grip on the body.

I finally got around to finishing this excerpt from my DnD campaign. Just a little splash of grey tones and spot colour to help make it pop. Excuse the watermark, I uploaded it to my Vgen as a commission example.

panel 1: Rein says "Okay" as he reaches for his sunglasses
panel 2: Rein puts his glasses down over his eyes in preparation (and because he thinks it makes him look cooler), saying "Let's see what I can do here..."
panel 3: drawing of Rein's new lyre (updated from when I posted the line art version of this page)
panel 4: close up of Rein's fingers on the strings making music
panel 5: a wall of fire blazes into existence
panel 6: Rein looks surprised, "Whoa..."
panel 7: Rein looks over his shoulder to Bris, off screen, saying "Bris, wasn't that cool?!"

I look forward to seeing your work regardless of the time it takes. I know comics take a long time, not only to draw but simply for life to give you the time to sit down and draw.

Rein has no problem with public displays of affection and maybe he should. Stop making out in the hallway

panel 1: Rein holds a woman in his arms, her leg wrapped around his as she says "So glad you're back, darling"
panel 2: Close up of Rein lifting the bakc of her shirt
panel 3: close up of her starting to slide her hand down the front of his pants
panel 4: the two of them kiss, Rein says, "How I've missed you."
panel 5: there is a large "Ahem" from off screen and the two of them stop what they are doing to look over
panel 6: Wide shot shows Tenebris staring at the two of them saying, "You realize you are in the hallway, right?". The woman looks unimpressed, Rein is smiling like an idiot
panel 7: Bris looks agitated and embarrassed, meanwhile Rein says, "Sorry Tenebris..." from off screen.

This DnD game is on a long hiatus, but I drew up this comic to show my interpretation of Tenebris' social anxiety. Rein tries to include him because he knows Bris doesn't have many friends, but he can't comprehend someone not wanting to be perceived. Tenebris belongs to @megzilla87.bsky.social

Panel 1: Bris' anxiety makes the characters look like looming black figures staring him down.
Panel 2: Bris tail curls up behind his back to hide
Panel 3: Bris hand trembles slightly as his tightly grips his book
Panel 4: Bris looks nervously away, "No thank you--- I'm in the middle of some research."
Panel 5: Bris hurriedly walks off into the crowd
Panel 6: Rein looks disappointed and a little worried, "Dammit..."

So similar to my process and ya, my friends enjoyed it. The cheaper cost also made me feel I could experiment more with the art. It didn't have to be "perfect" and I think that's a strong pro in my case.

BTW if you ever wanna commission an artist you don't have to have OC's or fandom characters- you can literally just be like "dang I'd like to have some more lesbian art exist" or "wow it would be real nice to see some trans rep in my culture" or "wouldn't a yellow centric painting look nice here"

@spookynest.bsky.social I ADORE this photocard holder I bought from you. I already had a set of photocards that I made and seeing one of them in this frame brings me so much joy. Tysm!

My photocard of two boys almost kissing placed into spooky's wonderful photocard holder that looks like a drawing program.

I got stuck on this comic page for months, but I’m really happy with the results. My DnD group fought an aboleth and Rein ended up stabbing some friends. Great fun

Great scale comic showing Rein swimming in the first panels. Second panel a large aboleth monster comes out of the water towards him. Third panel is a close up of Reins face showing fear and shock. Forth oaebls is the aboleth’s eyes as it uses its spell like ability. Fifth panel is a series of sparkles as Rein falls under its charm and he hears it say “Get rid of them”. Sixth panel Rein reaches for his rapier. Last panel Rein look serious as he looks toward his companions in the far background with his blade in hand.

#GenieDTIYS I recently opened up commission slots on my VGen account. I don't usually do colour, but Genie just wouldn't look right without her wonderful lime green hair.

Its fun to think about the personal objects an OC carries around with them. It says a lot about who they are and what's important to them. This can be helpful for not only for developing them further, but also giving other people insight into them. Great for RPGs or OC stories. Comm link in profile

Greyscale image of Rein's personal inventory. This includes his original lyre, coin pouch, notebook, necklace, snack packs, bracelets, comb, travel toothbrush and paste roll, iconic sunglasses, and water skin.

Drawn for a friend's priestess character. Greyscale drawing of her inventory which includes candles, holy symbol (ankh), pouch of gems, statue of a undefined goddess, and sensor

Fourth in my photocard series. Kyo loses a lot of fights in his younger years, but he's very stubborn and eventually becomes strong enough to win.

screentone image of Kyo when he is younger. He is laying on the ground, looking scuffed up. A leg come from off screen pinning Kyo to the ground with his shoe. Kyo looks pained and angry.

I kept avoiding this comic page because backgrounds are such a struggle, but the only way to get good at bgs is to draw bgs. This is only part of when J and Kyo first met b/c I waffled over the rest of the story and never finished it. I like to give J a hard time.

Black and white comic of my original characters. It is night, J and Kyo are arriving at Kyo's home. J says he is exhausted, Kyo says he finds that hard to believe. J turns to him in the second panel, about to give an idea. Third panel: Kyo's hand slams against the door by J's head. Fourth panel: Kyo warns for him not to get any ideas since it's him home, not J's. Fifth panel: J nervously agrees.

I finished my original character photocards and I'm really happy with the results. I printed multiple copies for my inner circle but there will be extras for others. The backs are just glossy without the holographic.

Front of photocards. Screentone art with holographic glossy laminate on top. All cards feature my original characters in various sexy situations.

Back of the cards. Clear glossy laminate. Nothing special
