i did the full 30 minute walk home from the surgery after my uterus was perforated by my coil & while it was embedding itself further into my womb lining & i have been living with it there for 10 months so what i'm saying is do not fuck with me (yes this is cope but also it is true so whatever)

i had no pain relief on insertion either btw. the specialist said she was in absolute awe of me for functioning at all. it just goes to show what a lifetime of being dismissed & taught to push through pain can cause. i didn't keep going out of strength or bravery, i've had no other choice

i've been treated as if i've been exaggerating when in reality the fact i have been functioning at all through this pain means i'm a fucking trooper. the specialist thinks it happened on insertion, meaning i have been pushing thru the agony of a perforated uterus for 10 fucking months
