Environmental temperature is a strong driver of subspecies competition in the Drosophila microbiome
Changes in abiotic factors, such as temperature, can affect the host fitness indirectly by modulating subspecies dynamics of key taxa, which are usually overlooked in microbiome research.

Glad to share our new paper published in Genetics!!🧬 Using experimental evolution data and forward genetic simulations, we explored how haplotype structure shapes the genomic response. doi.org/10.1093/gene...

Haplotype structure: an overlooked key factor shaping the genomic selection response
Abstract. Genetic redundancy, a hallmark of polygenic adaptation, implies that new trait optima can be reached by frequency changes of a subset of contribu

A haplotype-resolved pangenome of the barley wild relative Hordeum bulbosum - Nature
A study describes the assembly and analysis of a haplotype-resolved pangenome of bulbous barley with the potential to improve domesticated barley and illustrates its use in evolutionary research and trait mapping.
