Changingcolors Archive! @changingcolors.bsky.social · 02/09/2026I would open casting calls again, but I know that what I truly want to make will never be feasible bc it’s just not marketable. I might archive this account this has been a passion project for years. But I think it’s time to let it go. 012

Changingcolors Archive! @changingcolors.bsky.social · 07/05/2026Here are the first three “single covers” for Changeing Colors. I hope to make a short sample compilation of songs that inspire these pretend singles. “僕のふんわりしたスカート (Bokuno funwarishita sukāto)” “変わりゆくカラー (kawariyuku karā)” “青空が違う(Aozoraga Chigau)” #Jpopidol #idolgroup #changingcolorsidols 001
Changingcolors Archive! @changingcolors.bsky.social · 07/05/2026Ōta Aran is my least favorite design wise. I’m still figuring out how I want him to look, but I think I’ve gotten the most satisfaction with what his character means in the narrative. And how I can explore funny moments with him. #youtaite #utaite #idolgroup #歌い手 #アイドルグループ #changingcolorsidols 010
Changingcolors Archive! @changingcolors.bsky.social · 05/05/2026This would have been their new debut outfit it better reflects the tone I wanted to set, and I think it creates a stronger image. It’s a simple uniform with a direct detail a corsage, which is usually used in enrollment/graduation. #youtaite #utaite #idolgroup #歌い手 #アイドルグループ #changingcolorsidols 031

Changingcolors Archive! @changingcolors.bsky.social · 30/01/2026Ozora Yuito is a character I always struggled with design wise as I wanted him to be very androgynous and frail. I wanted Yuito to be soft spoken most people just did some generic fem voice. Maybe one day I can try again #youtaite #idolgroup #歌い手 #changingcolorsidols 021
Changingcolors Archive! @changingcolors.bsky.social · 23/01/2026These were originally meant to be the group’s debut outfits. However I realized the visual didn’t represent the group’s identity. So I chose to shift toward darker, muted colors for future designs, which better communicate the group’s tone/concept. #Jpopidol #youtaite #idolgroup #changingcolorsidols 020

Changingcolors Archive! @changingcolors.bsky.social · 28/12/2025Ozora Sōta was the hardest role to cast. In the end, no one auditioned for him largely because he’s a very specific character without a clear archetype or appeal. he was meant to be a dual center with his twin Yuito and direct opposite specifically with confidence and cultural orientation. 020
Changingcolors Archive! @changingcolors.bsky.social · 27/12/2025what I wanted to make, like any iconic anime idol group, CC was directly inspired by a real idol group. Keyakizaka46 specifically the single (Silent Majority) The concept of Changing Colors is that each member evolves identity And would tackle the social political aspects of it 020
Changingcolors Archive! @changingcolors.bsky.social · 27/12/2025Budget was never an issue, ultimately what held the project back was the lack of connections and interest. Most people focused on the surface idea of “a male Love Live/Ensemble Stars–type group” rather than the actual concept of an anti-idol alternative group. 111
Changingcolors Archive! @changingcolors.bsky.social · 27/12/2025As you all know, ChangingColors is officially canceled project, and I want to explain why in a more detailed way. While showing more concept art. 010
