“Why do I need to plan around it being a rig?” Because if it gets transferred to a 3D design, it’s already basically blueprinted. If you’re in TV, plan for it being rigged because it’s excessively cheaper for it to be rigged, so it probably will be just by virtue of that alone.

The conceptual of that era of pop art being reproduction and the crassness of it being a selling point has not aged well. But it got internalized by people that realized it sold extremely well, and spoke to something in them, that it became a standard bearer for collectors with money.
