The best feature of @obsidian.md is the inherent hackability. You can do whatever you want with your notes because *everything* is literally just a plain text file on your computer. Write tiny scripts to automate stuff. Pipe the contents to other programs. Solve your own problems.

I am amazed how well my eight year old launch-era Nintendo Switch is holding up. An eight year old phone or tablet feels damn near unusable - slowing way down due to software updates that push it beyond it's original specs and horrible battery life. Just that Nintendo magic.

@kagi.com's best feature is that it doesn't infantilize the user. It doesn't hide the results behind some "magic" obscure algorithm. It tells you exactly how those search results were chosen and gives you the power to tweak your results or change the algorithm on the fly.

I keep seeing videos of cybertrucks getting stuck in small amounts of snow - snow that no modern vehicle should be getting stuck in. It seems to me like an overly aggressive traction control. Can it not be disabled? Idiot drivers? Bad stock wheels? All of the above?
