I remember this scene absolutely HORRIFYING me as a child. Now as a an adult after seeing how they created it I have such an enormous amount of respect and praise for the team involved in creating such a visceral and memorable body horror effect in camera!

Can definitely relate to this. When I was working at THQ all of our regression/confirmation testing was done on paper and then updated in the database by the test lead. We eventually got workstations at everyone's desk which eliminated that.

Yeah...I definitely feel the same way. I'd go hang out and maybe chill with the friend group at a nearby place, but I don't think I see myself ever going back into the actual convention center. 10 years of working the show and/or supporting it gave me my fill.

The point that I was making is that he's playing with a real, sleeved one and put the slabbed one on top of it. It was very obviously done for the camera and really isn't that big of deal. If he was forced to return it to his hand he'd obviously just pick up the sleeved one he played from the deck.

I saw the clip and he didn't de slab it. He had the slab in another case that he removed that from and placed it on his board on top of another, regularly sleeved one. Really not that big of a deal tbh.

It's so easy to completely debunk this simply by looking at their digital prices and directly comparing them to a used, physical disc. I've seen some cases where the digital listing is still full price and the used disc is 1/10th the cost.

I think it's nice they have the clear hurt dirt again. My only hope is that I can tone down the intensity of the fill in the future. Some of the bosses create way too much visual noise when they get ready to use their frontals.

Expiring battle pass is what made me uninstall and never play OW again. I had one going that had a reward that I really wanted, but I couldn't work on it because of a holiday break/travel and by the time I got back it would've taken hours of marathon grinding to finish in time.

One of the biggest issues is that these companies are mired by people at the top who's ideas are never challenged. That's why MS focused on dumb BS in W11 instead of improving the core user experience and fixing bugs, and Google has spent years letting their searches get worse to jam Gemini in.

Totally yeah. What I was getting at was that the characters were originally imagined in written form rather than a visual medium. It would've been cool to have them imagined in a new way, but I kinda get why they match the actors. Either way the cards are still just the text for me at this point.

I wish they did an original imagining of the characters, but because they were introduced in a visual medium there isn't much room for interpretation. They should've done Ricardo for this for sure. I do like the shocklands and how the Dilemma mechanic weaves into cards that already exist.
