He’s been brought to life!! @/kamenridersilver (IG) did an incredible job sculpting and printing my Kaiju OC. I can’t wait to paint him up- I can’t stop looking at him. This is one of the coolest things I own now, by far 👁️👁️

I still can’t believe it’s been 2 years now since School of Dragons officially shut down. We timed the movie trilogy to end when the servers went offline ❤️‍🩹 So thankful to SoDOFF (and the other emulator(s?) I need to try too) for making it playable still. My dragons are special to me, pixels or not 🩵

I got too impatient and wanted to show off a WIP👁️👁️ Trying something new. Usually for metallic paintjobs I build up matte shading first and then drybrush on metallic paints and finish with a black wash, but the Razorwhip’s plates are a clean, reflective chrome. So, I’m trying out new things..👀

Finally finished repainting my Stormfly/Deadly Nadder figure! I know- I forgot I had bluesky again until today 😅 Going to post a picture of what the toy looks like before the repaint in the comments as well as a group pic of the 4 I’ve done so far.

Been redesigning my favorite HTTYD species (besides Zippleback) and I’m liking it so far. Doing a live action attempt considering the species is canon to the live action movie 👁️👁️ which is still so surreal to me. Anyway, got lots of ideas for this guy

Collection update: just finished ordering everybody to complete my McDonalds (EU) HTTYD 2 collection, and started on the other fast food HTTYD collections. Waiting on a handful of Playmobils to arrive as well as my grail (Live Spectacular Stormfly). Not collecting any other franchises for a while 😅

Been running around all day. Coming home with me, Yoda is! Wellll only for a week. Fixing him up and then there’s a biggggg commission I’ll be putting together and painting in the box next to him. And I still need to finish my personal project before HTTYD live action releases! Busyyyy!

I was eating a biscuit and he was resting on me, until a crumb dropped, and he lunged for it. He didn’t think for even a second. I couldn’t pry all of it outta his mouth so he got away with some. He is NOT supposed to eat that 👁️👁️

Some more photos whoops- I love doing photoshoots of me and my dragons in the game 🫶 part 1

My main dragons (and my fits that match) in School of Dragons! 🩵Zip and Zap: my # 1 this playthrough- she’s my Hideous Zippleback 💛Goldrush: Skrill 💙Nightwing: My # 1 from my very first playthrough, I brought him back of course, he’s still very special to me! 🧡Jumblejump: Titan Wing Death Song

This is going to be a thread lol. I don’t even know which design is a worse downgrade- HTTYD3 Toothless or the live action. Toothless used to be sleek, a healthy balance of both adorable and intimidating, clearly inspired by a variety of ✨wild✨ animals, and have beautiful coloration/patterns (1/?)

We got a nice printer and sticker cutter machine in today and we’re picking up a 3D printer from a friend tomorrow! Lots of good investments very excited to finish prepping for the con coming up. Yippee!

Some MMO battle event pics from earlier in SoD. Been working on leveling up my Titan Wing Deathgripper, Bugtusk. I matched his colors with my outfit too : >

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to Godzilla x Kong: The New Sloppire 🎉 You’re not good, but you are fun. I still love you, and you’ll *probably* always be my most watched movie in theaters. Maybeee I’ll rewatch you later, but I’m glued to the screen rewatching Race to the Edge for the 2nd time this month 🤭

WIP, drawing Zip & Zap and Nightwing, my main dragons 💙 to celebrate HTTYD’s 15th anniversary today! I still need to make that thread…

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 26/03/2025

HAPPY 15 YEARS TO HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON!! I’m going to post quite the hefty thread looking back on my nostalgia surrounding the first movie today, it is the most special franchise to me, alongside Twister/s (if that counts) and then followed by Godzilla , then other stuff… HTTYD the GOAT tho💚

000

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 26/03/2025

SHOUTOUT TO TWISTER (1996) FOR BEING THE FIRST MOVIE ❗️EVER❗️ TO RELEASE ON DVD 30 years ago today! My favorite movie ever the GOAT I love Twister so much

000

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 24/03/2025

IM CRYING AND THROWING UP TWISTERS SEQUELLLLLL YOOOOO I CANT WAIT

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 24/03/2025

I love my recent Titan Wing Sandbuster in School of Dragons. He instantly became a favorite along with Nightwing and Zip and Zap🫶

010

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

Grail acquired! The Live Arena Spectacular Toothless figure, a rarity to come by but I finally snagged one. He’s really neat!

000

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

More School of Dragons screenshots, sorry I will probably be spamming these for a while haha. I missed this game so much. Some Hidden World scenery with Zip and Zap, my Zippleback 💙

000

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

Super early WIP- finally got around to starting on this Toothless custom. I had to resculpt his tail (whoever had him before tore or chewed it off lol) and he’s getting a full repaint. He will have his Alpha glow, and I’m gonna try and make it glow-in-the-dark 👀 his patterns are a pain to paint tho💀

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

Class went fantastic! Everyone had a great time and thankfully they were all *already* HTTYD fans to begin with so they were familiar enough with it. Here’s my sketches I came up with as I always work along with them on the assignments. Success! They liked playing with my figures too haha

000

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 11/03/2025

I like to be a fun teacher! I put a lot of love into today’s worksheets to make them really immersive+ fun. I’m running an animation themed concept art class right now for kids. Today’s creature design so we will create our own HTTYD species using randomized traits and Marlet’s work as inspiration!

010

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

My OG is back 🫶 Welcome back, Nightwing! 💜 He was my very first dragon I got in School of Dragons back when I first started playing I waited until I completed the Hidden World expansion (again) to bring him back. He may be pixels on a screen, but I missed him all the same!

000

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 07/03/2025

Working on something cool! Just a concept so far. Black Tree Skink inspired Night Fury character design. I’d like to imagine there’s different locales of night furies that adapted to different environments, this being more of a woodland species.

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 05/03/2025

Sangria, Mango’s sister had her first time out without the play tent to see how well she would behave/if she would run off. She was only interested in visiting us, didn’t even want a banana snack! She’s becoming so curious and friendly, she’s so cute 🥰 I love emerald tree skinks so much 💚

030

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 03/03/2025

Been collecting mini HTTYD dragons lately. Best way to get as much variety as possible because wow is the aftermarket on the larger figures bad 😅

010

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

After all this time I finally caved and got School of Dragons (SoDOFF) running on my PC! I put it off for a long time cuz the way the fanbase came together to wish our dragons goodbye up until the server shut down in 2023 was such an experience. But hey if Hiccup can bend the rules so can I 🤓☝️

000

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

@jeffreythewolf.bsky.social has also been turned into a HTTYD dragon. He felt a Windwalker would fit him so I took inspiration from his own character Jeffrey with the color palette. Once again the bioluminescence is referenced from the School of Dragons texture maps

130

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

Finished turning myself into a Terrible Terror lol. I love her! Main colors are based off an emerald tree skink cuz they’re my favorite little guys, and the hidden world bioluminescence is just based off the School of Dragons texture maps.

010

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Okay this might be my funniest win yet🤣

211

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

New toy (emerald tree skink approved) I love Ichibansho statues. Odo Island/premutated Godzilla (Minus One) is epic.

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

Mango wants to star in a Beast From 20,000 Fathoms remake!

000

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

I’m starting to warm up to the new season a lot. Got some solo victories last night and figuring out what methods work best for me. I still miss last season so much, but I’m having a good time either way. HMU if we’re mutuals on other accs too and we can play together sometime 🤙

000

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

New season is ok so far? My friends and I checked it out last night but still haven’t gotten to explore everything . I definitely prefer last season so far, but maybe this can still become my favorite. Mid battle pass, only want Cassidy, Dill, Sub Zero, and Midas if I’m being real lol.

000

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

And that’s a wrap for C6S1! Ending with a clean 40 Victory Royales and level 400🥳 My stats: Level: 400 Wins: 40 (Solo: 23 Duos: 4 Trios: 2 Squads: 10) Eliminations: 599 Loved this season so much, especially typhoon blade my beloved. Going to miss it but getting excited for S2!

000

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 19/02/2025

My friends and I assigned everyone in our group a HTTYD species we feel fits everybody lol I’m a terrible terror, I would absolutely agree it’s fitting I also really love emerald tree skinks, and they feel so tree skink coded 💚🫶 I’m not even kidding I’m making this an oc/sona now

030

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 17/02/2025

WIP, making one of my dream figures ever since I was a kid If you grew up on Fossil Fighters as well, you probably recognize this fella 👀

241

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 16/02/2025

Finish! Here she is, 3rd of my HTTYD customs. I’ve already done Toothless and Hookfang, just need to do Stormfly and Barf&Belch to complete the main crew. And then many of the other side dragons. So happy with how she turned out!

020

Chai the Lizard @chaithelizard.bsky.social · 15/02/2025

I miss painting Monster Hunter Figure Builders so much. This is still one of my favorite things I’ve ever painted, it was for a buddy of mine. I really need to make one for myself as well 👁️👁️
