New in random mammadog bullshit- tried out a new method of feeding my starter to strengthen her back up, and she responded but busting out her dang jar 😂 baked 2 loaves today with this result, but haven't taste tested yet! But the loaves look really pretty!

Ooh, well her paw pads are pinkish! I found one picture showing her beans 🤣 totally possible she was mis registered! The breeder I got her from was... Well, not the same caliber as you, I'll put it that way! But oh wow! See, interesting things to learn!!! I know so little about cat genetics!

They aren't usually unpredictable, they give clear signs to let you know when they are getting irritated. Here is our kitty for tax 💜 once the kids go to bed the first thing she does is flops or sprawls in the family room 🤣 she hangs out when they're awake too, but she appreciates the quiet xD

I'm not sure why, or what's happening, but for some reason, a compilation of Cunk's documentaries that feature Pump Up The Jam are playing. Just the bits where this song plays 🤣

Yearly vet visit day for Piper and Luna, if you can't tell, they are not thrilled about it. Last time Piper was here was for her spay, so she's all drooly and nervous. And Moona doesn't like carriers or being anywhere that isn't our house. Hopefully goes quick and easy!

Using food, show where you grew up- (Tried to make this a little less 'obvious', and first one is a nod to where I was born before we moved when in 5th grade)

Mainly, I'd proof longer after taking out of the fridge, prior to baking, also not kneading the dough at all after the first rise. I'm very new to bread that isn't quick bread, and fermented starters. But I'm excited to learn and do more! Got a traditional flour starter going now, and potato flake!

With starter/dough recipe and guidance courtesy of @sweetbitters.bsky.social , and an additional recipe that recommended the filling, frosting and cinnamon caramel recipe, I made my first ever batch of from-scratch cinnamon rolls this morning! Got ideas for what to tweak next time too!

My first adventure in focaccia, made the other day! I was so excited that I may have started a sourdough starter thanks to help and a recipe from Bitters xD I haven't made much in the way of bread, so I'm pretty jazzed! 🤣

Piper is at the vet today for her spay surgery. It's the first time I've ever had to leave her somewhere that isn't home (or Dad's, when we visit.) 😭 The ladies there are all super nice and she was happy to say hi to them, and wasn't upset going with them 💜 It's hard sending them in for surgery, -

Opening up for 4 more slots for these! 1-2 week turnaround time, planning on doing them in the mornings as a warm-up! $50 for color, $25 for a sketch Additional charge for very complex characters, wings, or making it a half body (for preg characters). Please comment or DM if you'd like a slot!

Chai 💜🤍🩶🖤 🏳️‍🌈 @chaispots.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

Want just a sketch without color? Something like this would be $20-25- depending on complexity of the character. Also open to doing bump&up style for pregnancy theme for an additional charge for either sketch or colored option!

Chai 💜🤍🩶🖤 🏳️‍🌈 @chaispots.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

Re: Bust Warm-ups! Logan volunteered to be my guinea pig, then offered to commission me to do one of Chai! So here's an example of what I'd be offering, something like this for $50! If you want just a clean lined sketch, it would be $30. Additional charge for complex characters, wings, etc!

She's all set for next week Wednesday for her spay! Now to get surgical recovery suits and the inflatable e-collar to be all ready to go.

Chai 💜🤍🩶🖤 🏳️‍🌈 @chaispots.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

Piper is not terribly enthusiastic about being at the vet today, especially since the dog a few rooms over very much sounded like he wanted to eat the vet. (And apparently he was already sedated, good luck 🫡) But at the clinic for her pre-surgery appointment, getting prepped for her spay, soon.
