The few million Elon will save from government's science & weather administrations will be nicely compensated by the $1b aid to Israel. Congrats, you've been duped again.

This is a big announcement. There will be a TON of gov't subsidies. OpenAI had no moat because open source models like DeepSeek R1 are beating OpenAI's expensive o1 (and doing it faster too). Now with an unprecedented government subsidy, OpenAI will finally have a moat: compute power. Thing is,

Libs deserve all the humiliation from left & right, down & up, from all discovered & undiscovered dimensions. They were wrong every step of the way. - They appealed to right (they lost) - They said left & Muslim vote wouldn't matter (it did) - They said Trump would destroy Gaza more (he didn't)

TIL that Marvel has a pretty interesting antihero called Cardiac who steals life-saving tech & medicine for the poor, and hunts evil pharma & insurance executives. Apparently his brother passed without access to a drug that was pulled from the market because it wasn't profitable.

I haven't seen a show with more perfect usage of glitch art than Arcane. Also excellent example of last few years' animation trend: combining multiple artistic methods in the same frame (Lego, Spiderverse, MvsM, TMNT, etc) Unique in the world of remakes, sequels, mass-produced Disney 3d animations

Playing with Bluesky UI. - ".bsky.social" is too long. Replace with logo - Time is relevant for the post in card form, add it to top left. Also `|` is enough, no need for "at" - Written 1 repost/like are not needed, you already have symbols - Pencil sign already indicates editing, no need for words

A thing that became common since 2010 in VC / tech influencer sphere is trying to look nerdy & geeky by formulating life into math/code. SBF & co did this a lot, Elon does it too. This is common practice in science but these techbros have no background so they fail miserably.

Chaos Roads is mentioned in Bankless again, alongside other beautiful art collections. The article is a great read about runtime art & blockchain-native possibilities. I'm so happy this genre is starting to get more attention 🔥 Thanks for the shout W. Peaster

Thanks to @punk3700 and @NewBitcoinCity for adding ITTN into generative.xyz even though I originally launched the collection independently. Generative has been a great place to discover gen-art on inscriptions, and I'm glad ITTN is represented there. More info below 👇

Great news for the onchain art movement. Deca Art now supports fully onchain art rendering directly from the chain, meaning that dynamic changes on both the fully onchain painting+music+poem get reflected from the chain. Link below 👇

These two collections are a bit less known A) They're low-supply B) From an indie artist (no teams/platforms) C) No influencers behind But make no mistake: These collections (along with a few others) are pioneering examples of the "smart contract as art" movement.

Gaussian Timepieces are from Sep '21. As far as I know, it has the first use of *ownership aesthetics* (along with an inchain ever-changing art). The Mesh (Feb '22) takes it a couple of steps further, exploring social connectivity, inchain communications, and inchain DAO mechanisms.

Honored to have swapped two Chaos Roads with a Mesh and a Gaussian Timepiece with the OG Takenstheorem. For those not aware, The Mesh and GT are some of the earliest fully onchain *runtime* crypto-art collections that have extremely rich concepts behind them.

Many people hate vague "artistic" interpretations (or appropriations) of concepts. It's true that artists/curators sometimes go overboard. The cool thing about blockchain runtime art is it doesn't need appropriation. The explored concepts are verifiable within the smart contract

Each entropy day means a new outcome; so the total possibilities are even more: - For the visuals, there are actually 9 x 10^37 possibilities - For the music, it's 2 x 10^11 - For the poem, it's 3 x 10^7 After some point, the number after the 10^ becomes a bit meaningless 🤷‍♂️

Chainleft @chainleft.bsky.social · 08/07/2023
I haven't advertised at launch as I thought it wasn't needed, but some collections talk about their generation richness. 400 Chaos Roads were created out of: - 25 decillion (25 x 10^34) visuals - 100 million (10^8) melodies - 40 sound types per block - 81k poems - x 365 entropies

3) Participating in your art. Can we play into the aesthetic preferences of collectors and provide them an extremely cost-efficient way to participate in their art instead of just "vaulting" their assets? Can we manage this while sufficiently differentiating the art?

Chainleft @chainleft.bsky.social · 07/07/2023
2) Blockchains allow never-ending simulations of the universe. Can we program a pocket universe where things get chaotic over time (as is the case in our universe), but conscious human attempts can bring transitory order to the universe (as is the case in our universe)?

1) The form is not important. You can infinitely pack art forms into a single entity (the token). It’s the unique, runtime nature of this ALWAYS-ON computer that makes the art come alive.

Chainleft @chainleft.bsky.social · 07/07/2023
Chaos Roads pieces come in three art forms, but the main art is stripped from the form - it's the contract that explores unique concepts. I'd rather people identify/verify the concepts in the contract themselves but small-size, indie collections have to discuss them openly. 🧵

IMHO AI art is a very interesting genre. I've said as much in the past too. AI artists add a lot to their art. But I'm genuinely curious how the outputs would look like if the model training data would only be based on data that doesn't breach privacy & consent.

Valuation aside; some people are calling this ugly and not artistic. As ugly as others might think it is; art is bigger than just "pretty pictures". Early innovative attempts at an emerging genre evoke so many more emotions in me than a beautiful 1/1 on Superrare or The Goose. Innovation is art.

Welcome home MoonCat #6238 I never understood why the community voted to hide accessories by default. As far as I know, Mooncats were either the first or one of the first to deploy NFT extensions within the chain metadata. It's a beautiful innovation and it should be proudly displayed.

These are the reasons I chose EVM generation as my method to generate the Chaos Roads pieces. I think this is the future of fully on-chain gen-art. Of course, that's just *one* feature of Chaos Roads. You'll hear more later.

Chainleft @chainleft.bsky.social · 04/07/2023
5. Finally, EVM generation is novel and conceptually interesting. This is a bit subjective, but to me, using Solidity (which is built for an entirely different purpose) to build art is interesting - it's having fun with the medium that is blockchain & crypto.
110
Chainleft @chainleft.bsky.social · 04/07/2023
4. EVM generation is actually cheaper than later uploading on-chain! When you build the art in solidity, you pass parameters to it, so during minting the only cost is the storage of the parameters. Then you can override `TokenURI` to construct the art during the read calls.
110
Chainleft @chainleft.bsky.social · 04/07/2023
3. EVM gen enables trustlessness. Projects mint tokens & create off-chain art, pledging fully on-chain uploads. But if gas costs spike, the artist may not afford to put it on-chain.
110
Chainleft @chainleft.bsky.social · 04/07/2023
2. EVM generation is compatible with the open-source ethos of blockchain & crypto. Anyone can look at the generation code and freely copy or build on it. This is how technology improves, gradually, building on top of each other.
