little guy has been visiting for the past 3 days. ear is clipped and he's fixed so he's a humane catch-and-release as far as we can tell. can't take him in but we've put out some feelers just in case, don't worry

I can be reclusive so I didn't go to pride back in june, but patty talked me into today. feeling like me and being surrounded by so many other queers was nice she sent me this photo and my first comment was how big my boobs have gotten lol if anybody is weird about this, I'm deleting it (and you)

there's a painful irony in having a fixed statue of 'homeless jesus' getting more accessible bench seating than actual homeless people

a sidewalk bench with a statue of "homeless jesus" laying on it, taking up all but 1 seat so nobody can lay down on it

a nearby bench with anti-homeless/sleeping brackets affixed to the seat

these posts are just as much about me as him, but it's a lot on top of a lot. I've made a peace that I'm not fully content with, but it's my own and will stay with me, even if it looks different years from now. I loved him. he was family, and I wish it was easier to say goodbye. I'll miss you buddy

converted one of my fightsticks to 4-way to exact proper revenge on arcade ghosts n goblins next week, so I guess you could say things are getting pretty serious 8-way was fine until stages with lots of ladders, and switching to gamepad still had a few too many accidental diagonals for my liking

Seimitsu LS-40-01 Joystick restriction gate shifted from 8-way to 4-way mode to allow for more precise movement in 4 directional arcade games

PSA for the 2 other people who have a similar setup, but holy shit I just solved so many quest pro comfort issues turn the rear cradle upside down. that's it. I can look down in mini golf. I can dance and whip my head around. I don't have to overclamp anymore. and no more top strap! I feel free

if you have an overly complex analog setup for getting audio to and from your computer, these little ground loop isolators are invaluable for killing buzz and hum. I've got like 10 of them in many shapes and sizes bridging just about every source in my chain lol

a generic ground loop isolator with dual 3.5mm inputs. one input is open and the other has a 3 inch male-to-male 3.5mm cable connected to it for example. they come in various types such as RCA with tethered wires etc depending on need

this is a very incomplete roughup of the pfp I originally had in mind and ended up scrapping. it's the same color palette I've used in all my previous ones for like 10+ years, but I just ended up referencing the same colors as a throwback nod for my current one
