it's made me so damn picky about the linework brushes I use cus i can't have too much texture, but i don't like the super smooth and thin lines, and I can't commit to big chunky lines, and a paper texture often feels like it gets in the way, and- you get the point 😩

For Medibang Paint users, the closest approximation I could muster without learning how to do brush scripting was to shrink the png down to a square, feather the top and bottom edges, and create a bitmap brush with the settings shown in the image. It's not perfect, but it's serviceable.

A Medibang Paint Brush Settings panel. The first set of slider values are:

Opacity: 100%.
Width: 200 pixels.
Minimum Size: 50%.

Pen Pressure Size is selected; Pen Pressure Opacity is NOT selected.

Brush Spacing is set to 44. (This may vary depending on how you've edited the brush PNG.)

Rotate Along is selected, with a Rotation Degree of 25 and a Random Rotate of 0.

Apply Foreground Color is selected.
