considering they have "blowfish" in their name i think it's a fair assumption that they were referring to a fellow sea creature

From the first trailer of "Forgotten Island" (Dreamworks Animation). Directed by Joel Crawford & Januel Mercado. Inspired by Filipino folklore. >> www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8RH...

full disclosure, my partner got it for me as a gift 😭😭😭 cos i felt the exact same way, i really wanted to play but didn’t feel like it justified buying a switch 2 for it. but lets be real, nintendo consoles have always just been pokemon machines for me ahaha i needed ditto game in my life

010

Charlie GR @cgratzlaff.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

after playing it for a week now i genuinely think pokopia is the pokemon game i've always wanted, i severely underestimated what it was based on the trailers. it's the best game they've made in years

there are just ways that he plays songs live that elevate them!! my fave example is What A Good Boy, their producer on that album wanted a small and simple ending but they always felt like it needed to be way bigger so that's how he's played it live ever since and it's my favourite part of the song

Charlie GR @cgratzlaff.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

aahh yes!!! i'm so glad i got to see a couple BNL shows before he left because there was such an energy to them that he's been able to keep with his solo work, i'll never get tired of seeing him live. his voice fills a room so effortlessly

Charlie GR @cgratzlaff.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

i’ve seen steven page live enough times now that my favourite part of seeing him tonight was, during a quiet moment after a song finished and the clapping died down, some guy in the audience just said loudly and plainly, “that was really good”

absolutely yes, i always eat all of anything and at any time and when i see friends only finish like half a burger it makes me feel like a food monster

fursuit representation has come a long way since that one episode of CSI

Charlie GR @cgratzlaff.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

another neat collaborative one in this is gwima, where we animated the lip sync using a basic rig and then the fx artists drew 2D fire on top of it

Charlie GR @cgratzlaff.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

the chibi rig was my favourite! like you see in the video, it let us create a mouth shape without having to worry about the skin geo around it while still having a mouth bag that went back in depth through the face of the character, but cos of the way it was masked you didn't see any of the crashing

nirvana the band the show the movie i saw it last night and MAAANNNNN it's been a long time since i've been so utterly delighted by a movie, made me proud of canadian cinema. highly recommend seeing it if you can, we went for cheap tuesday and the theatre was packed, it was such a good time!!

Charlie GR @cgratzlaff.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

I'm so happy to hear that!!

Charlie GR @cgratzlaff.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

for real, the directors set the tone and it had such a ripple effect down through the levels of leadership. my part in that was small on this movie but it was such a pleasure to be a part of and i learned a lot from them that i'll be taking with me into my next shows for sure

Charlie GR @cgratzlaff.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

it's so nice to see folks loving GOAT, it was one of the most fun movies that I've ever worked on and the whole crew had SUCH a good time because the directors brought the good vibes and open collaboration each and every day. proof that you don't need to kill artists to make a fun movie 🤘
