Saw the Dragon Maid movie tonight and it's a good reminder of why I fell in love with the series in the first place. Some stunning visuals and heart-warming as ever. I had a fantastic time. #misskobayashisdragonmaid #anime #film

One more edition to the comics collection! I remember reading most of this in the pages of Doctor Who magazine when I was heading towards my twenties and it remains one of my favourite storylines. #doctorwho #comics

Just dropped off by the postie, a bumper collection of Doctor Who comics. The comics from Doctor Who magazine are some of my favourite stories about the Time Lord in any medium. #DoctorWho #comics

Listening to the latest Third Doctor adventure from #bigfinish and it's a wild ride. Venusian karate, weather machines and a gathering of Liz Shaws is only the start of a madcap escapade with a twist that had me gasping in both delight and horror. This was incredibly fun. #doctorwho #ThirdDoctor

Impulse bought a couple of new series from my local comic shop. First up, potentially, my favourite Sirens interpretation to date. The fact Ivy gets called a houseplant and all she wants to do is stay in, drink wine and watch zombie movies is such a fun take. #comics #dccomics #gothamcitysirens

More additions to the comic collection. This time taking a step back into the original Cassandra Cain Batgirl series. When an art project threatens to overrun all of Gotham it brings new meaning to the term 'rewilding'. It's Cass vs Ivy! #comics #dccomics #batgirl #poisonivy #cassandracain

"If you're not paying for the product, you are the product." I think this might be my favourite 9th Doctor audio so far. An unsettling story with a great concept at its heart and some real bite at the end. It's everything I want from an episode of Doctor Who. #doctorwho #bigfinish

Bought this for the Chris Samnee art, stayed for the Mark Waid story. There's a really interesting use of Clayface here and some fun father-son moments between Batman and Robin. I like how Waid writes their family dynamic, especially an exasperated Alfred. #comics #dccomics #batman #robin

#PercyJackson S2 finale! Some big changes from the book and I love every second of them. This is how you do an adaptation, completely unafraid and yet holding on to the spirit for all it's worth. Can't wait for season 3. #PercyJacksonandtheOlympians

Make sure to balance out your righteous anger towards modern society in healthy, productive, and fulfilling ways. Tell your friend you love them. Write up positive reviews of things you enjoy. Go for walks and get some sun, or cuddle up with a pet . Don't be angry all the time, you'll burn out.

Watching #TheFirstSlamDunk on Netflix. This is such a good movie and I don't even like basketball all that much. The painterly artstyle is gorgeous and the motion is so fluid. Add on an emotional story and this is a straight ten out of ten for me. #anime #filmsky

youtu.be/ucwSGu1c9ms?... Fun fact: I actually came up with the Compass team, wrote most of the story involving them (before it was refined by TNM and his team,) and am especially proud of Panzy's big moment with Tea! Also, got to use my deep villain voice! Been enjoying playing Gomah in this.

Some BTS: I was originally going to have this done around Christmas. Then my computer broke down. But we had a sponsorship deal. They extended the deadline to the 4th, but my computer wasn't working again until the 19th. So, I worked 12-14 hour days all of last week, save New Years Eve.

Hi, I'm Chris. My current WIP is a fantasy series set in a series of lands were magic is divided up by the seasons, with Season Queens to keep the balance. Think Frozen meets Avatar the Last Airbender.

Wrapping up the peri-a-thon, for now, with an anthology. There's a holographic prison break, jumbled time lines and a murder mystery in a women's college. The standout though is Nev Fountain's story. A wonderful piece with a beautiful speech at the end about the past. #DoctorWho #bigfinish

#PercyJackson Season 2 episode 5 and I have nothing but love for how good of an adaptation this is. Not only holding true to the spirit of the books, but also unafraid to change or add in meaningful ways. Loved Circe. Loved the sirens. Loved all of it. #PercyJacksonandtheOlympians

Continuing the peri-a-thon. This is an utterly mad story, we've got spies, moon bases, intelligent black holes, the JFK assassination and Laika leading an animal farm-esque revolution. It's wonderfully insane. Look out that monkey's got a gun! #DoctorWho #bigfinish

#TheWarBetweentheLandandtheSea Some great performances and direction, but I really wish it had a few more episodes to explore it's ideas. Plus then I might actually care about the Barclay/Salt relationship. Maybe we'd even see some consequences for Kate's downward spiral. #doctorwho

#TheWarBetweentheLandandtheSea 4/5ths of the way through and, while there's nothing that tops the set pieces of the first two episodes for me, this is still a shockingly good series. I love how committed it is to just letting scenes breath and allows us to feel all the tension and loss. #Doctorwho
