Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Craig Breslow built the 2026 Red Sox and they stink. But he also built the 2026 White Sox and they just won a playoff series and seem pretty fun. So who is really to say if he is a huge doofus or not. 100

Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 21/08/2026I am sorry to hear you had a bike stolen....you will get back to the n+1 lifestyle in no time! 110

Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 26/04/2026Well if the Red Sox are nothing else, they are at least embarrassing. 010
Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 25/04/2026I think the Red Sox should get more outs than give up runs. 000
Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 06/04/2026New Wheelset is done. 'New' I suppose, hubs are used. Front wheel pattern is +4, +4, +4, +4, -4, -4, -4,-4 Rear wheel pattern is 3x Driveside with radical NDS. I am going to do a sweet skid with these and BOTH wheels are going to crumple. #bikesky 010

Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 26/02/2026I have always said I am shipping 'photos' when asked when I send a PWE to the states, haven't had to fill out any forms. I did have to pay extra postage though 000
Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 22/02/2026Yes I like them, one day the planets will align and I will have a hub, a rim, and the correct length spokes sitting around to build one 010
Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 21/02/2026Ah more I think that it looks cool and will work. Any incremental gains or losses won't really be noticeable, given the situation with the bike the wheel will be going on. 110
Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 21/02/2026I think I am going to run it on a future build, might mock up a few other patterns before I decide though 110
Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 21/02/2026I can't believe I tensioned this one up all the way. Looks amazing though. I have other plans for this hub but I think I might get a front wheel at the bike co-op and re-lace it to this pattern just to have one. #bikesky 030
Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 21/02/2026Another one, leading elbows out spokes are +1, trailing heads out spokes are -3. Not a fan. #bikesky 130
Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 21/02/2026Here is a +3, 0, 0, -3. This was fun to lace up, looks very nice too. Leading spoke is 3 rim holes to the right of radial, next two spokes are radial, trailing spoke is -3 rim holes to the left of radial #bikesky 220

Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 07/02/2026I am struggling with this math, the fundamental principle of bikes is n+1 with all other equations derived from there. I just can't see 4 being an acceptable solution. 020

Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 28/01/202656 days until Opening Day.....which is the number of home runs Nomar once hit in a single season. #cardsky 010
Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 21/01/2026What I find most interesting about this card, like a lot from 2021, is the empty stands in the background. #cardsky 041
Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 19/01/2026PSA 6? Well I guess it makes sense, that is the number of SF bunts Nomar had in his career. #cardsky 010
Chris @cfunsters.bsky.social · 16/01/2026This would be a great time to learn how to build wheels. I am not sure if you can swap the freehub bodies, but in order to swap the hubs, a few dimensions would have to match otherwise there might be issues with incorrect spoke length. 140
