Yea that’s all I use it for these days. Well I take that back. I’m running a home server using a Linux kernel and tails vpn to tunnel to it since my isp is lame af. Saves me like $400/month

I needed to ship some iOS and macOS stuff and at the the time it was just easier so I stuck with it lol. But the new m line of processors are pretty good. Most of the stuff you want you can install with terminal like you would Linux. Honestly it feels almost exactly the same tbh.

I was never apple when I was broke and would dual boot windows/ubuntu or mint in the 2010’s. But osx really stole my heart. Apple as a company is questionable for sure but osx for local dev work has been great for me. But windows being able to run Linux kernels has been pretty dope too.
