Very happy to share that the first publication connected to my PhD research is a fact! It was published in an edited volume on Babylon Berlin, which also has a gorgeous 1920s design!

Writing a dissertation...

A four panel Peanuts comic, in which Snoopy sits on top of his dog house with a typewriter. In the first panel, he writes 'Why dogs are superior to cats'. In the second panel he paused and thinks, after which he continues to write 'They just are, and that's all there is to it!'. In the fourth panel he looks up to the reader and thinks 'Short and to the point!'

Found this very relatable.

A comic from the Peanuts. In the first panel, Sally walks up to Charlie Brown, who is watching TV, saying: "Don't give me anything for Christmas this year, big brother...". In the second panel, she stretches out her hands and says "All I want is for everyone to have peace, joy and love". In the third panel, Charlie Brown asks her: "Do you really mean that? Are you sincere?" Sally looks thoughtful. In the fourth panel, she walks away, saying "No, I think I've finally flipped", leaving Charlie Brown stunned.
