the ISO number matters, when u search for "iso certified" make sure it's 45001 for safety (other numbers are for things like product quality so this one isn't right)

if the info isnt on the company profile u can ask the rep in chat about whether they have cert/audit files they can send to you sometimes the files are in chinese but google lens is good enough translate something like this

cres @cfeather.bsky.social · 24/03/2025

the ideal for this kind of thing is probably: -an up-to-date BSCI or SEDEX audit report that you can check the details of -ISO 45001 certification you can check what certs a company has on their profile. here's a random tent company for instance

they're an "alibaba verified manufacturer". but this isnt actually a safety certification so it doesnt mean anything. from what i can tell the requirements are vague and don't even necessarily have anything to do with worker safety seller.alibaba.com/businessblog...

this is zhejiang shizan (also known as vograce). if you scroll down the info on their alibaba company profile you can check to see what kinds of certifications the company has uploaded. in this case it's.... well, pretty much nothing bgd.en.alibaba.com/factory.html...

with all the info on twt lately about vograce's extremely unsafe factory working conditions i thought it might be a good idea to look into safety certification info for a couple of alibaba manufacturing companies. it's not too hard to do so i've documented the process in this thread 🧵

i did a polaroid for the #OdeToEpilogue event (JUNGDOKONPH) ^^ it was a lot of fun to draw!! i wanted to include the event venue and refs to the decor to make it feel more personalized but i kinda had to take liberties with perspective to make them fit in frame LOL #orv #전독시 #joongdok #중독
