Chris Faux @cf0.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I made meatballs with beef mince, ricotta and thyme from the garden. A bit bland. With a mixed salad. Had horseradish sauce on mine, wife had yoghurt. 010
Chris Faux @cf0.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Didn't see this yesterday but yours sounds good. Yesterday I pre prepped a Salade Nicoise as we weren't getting in until 9.30, Marlborough Sauvignon. Today I'm marinating chicken breast slices in garlic, lemon and rosemary, will fry that and have with griddled courgettes and home grown aubergine. 001

Chris Faux @cf0.bsky.social · 04/08/2026As ever I'm late to the party with this. Your dinner sounds great but would be too much for an old geezer's failing appetite. We had an old fashioned (v. ripe) melon and Parma ham starter. Followed by an egg mayonnaise and lettuce sandwich (no cress available but lots of chives). Cahors Malbec 000
Chris Faux @cf0.bsky.social · 03/08/2026The plot thickens. It seems you are right, both that the Beeb now uses Met data, and that there is a discrepancy between its forecast and the Met's. 100
