finished lanterns, honestly if they knew they were gonna do what they did in the finale at least they could’ve introduced those ideas earlier and drawn it out a little over two to three episodes. otherwise i felt it was great, many many incredible moments and loved hal’s casting

i guess the one exception to that replaceability is a romantic relationship because it’s probably the most difficult to do that in without either coming off as an asshole or having a very difficult conversation with someone but that should never be the reason why you get into one in the first place

something i wanna change but i think i’ve almost always viewed relationships as functional in some sense, i think each relationship fills some kind of niche or fulfils a function for the person which in itself is kind of a nice concept but at the same time
