🍂Folk Horror Fall #3: Number 13 (2006) letterboxd.com/cesiousblue/... Based on the M.R James story. Maybe more "antiquarian horror" than "folk horror" but lets include it anyway. This was just okay, but I do think that some slashy fanfic based on it would kick ass. #folkhorrorfall

all of the above were based on one of my favorite possessions, this label-maker that belonged to my grandfather:

I had a FANTASTIC time sketching out these lil pistols for a #TTRPG client. (I'm aware there's overlap in these aesthetics- mostly I wanted to nail down art direction early for a bigger project!) Give me some more projects where I get to design shit, this was so fun. 😁

four versions of a pistol, each have in common a round disk-like object. the categories are 'moebius-inspired' which has the most colors and quirky design choices like a bead and a star badge; "retro-futurism" which is a classic ray-gun look; "cassette-futurism" that has a tiny monitor , buttons, and a cream colored antenna; and finally "sci-fi grunge" that looks the most like a modern pistol

Some Western vibe pieces from over the years 🌵 I would love to do work for a comic or ttrpg set in a western or Weird West kinda vibe- It's the sort of environment that I know best!

Usually I trim these out of the palm tree before they get ripe but I left it too long this year and i got curious about the fruit - the bees def love it. Learned that they're edible! and I can make delicious jelly out of these so I'm gonna try! The ripe ones sort of smell like sweet potato!
