You like it cold.

You don't like the feeling of heat sticking to your body. It brings up bad memories. Your own flesh seeping into your muscles. Wishing you hadn't pushed your old friends away. You don't like being reminded of that.

When it's cold, you feel... at peace somewhat. Your body melts a little less. You like how the cool air feels on whatever skin you have exposed, which there is very little to hide scars you feel shame for having, even if you had no choice in the matter. You threw on a different outfit than usual, and you decided to go on a walk tonight.

You don't like bringing your new friends along with you on your walks. They already know everything about you-you live together after all-and you like them, but this is your burden to bear. They have their issues. You have yours.

You sometimes wonder what it's like, back where you're from. If your old friends are still trying to search for you. If they're even still friends by that point, because you know you're the glue that held them together.

You're not even sure if you still "exist". To anyone. You never really had that great of a mental state, did you?

But it doesn't matter anymore, does it?

I don't normally linger around after dark, but today I stayed and saw someone sitting on the old bench.

A cat, a lavender one, probably male. He was wearing a maroon shirt and purple pants, but they were completely torn to shreds. He looked like he was melting. There were bite marks all over him.

I tried approaching him; he said his name was Raine. He was terrified the entire time, but he was willing to talk. He's just sitting on that old bench the entire day.

He definitely wasn't from here. Or maybe he was, and just wanted to come back. Poor thing was shivering, though. Like he wanted to stay there, but it was causing him to actively get worse.

I think "cadence" is a musical term relating to the inflection of voice or something. And Ralsei canonically sings. Whatever this joint AU I'm cooking up is, it's mostly just whatever I find funny at the time.

This is Ink Bendy. Ink Bendy is a creature made up entirely of ink, seemingly trying to take on the form of a cartoonish rubberhose inksplot/demon. Bendy is rendered in sepia colors, his face and bowtie being pale brownish. Bendy's body is melting, both arms just ending up as melted nubs and his face being covered up by ink. Bendy has a large cartoonish smile and a giant bowtie. A strand of ink drips from the side of his face and down to his shoulder, disconnected from his actual neck. Bendy's physical form ends with his torso, completely melting away and having no legs. The drawing takes place in a grayscale sketch meant to invoke the feelings of an abandoned place.

This is Bendy's design in the original alpha release of Bendy and the Ink Machine. It has since been significantly overhauled within the second chapter's release.

This design gives him beige paws and underbelly, maroon dreads stylized as rope, maroon ears, a few stripes running down his back, a single fang, freckles, and a symbol vaguely shaped like a heart on his forehead.
