Michael Richards @certainline.bsky.social · 26/02/2025This is Maddie, a remarkable dog who lives in the US, the companion of Theron Humphrey. Maddie is remarkable because she can stand on things, stock-still, for some time. Even more remarkably, Maddie is still with us: 14 years old and still standing on things! 180
Michael Richards @certainline.bsky.social · 16/02/2025My tribute to Edward Ardizzone (1900-1979), probably the greatest of all illustrators, who made something of a specialty of drawings of people in pubs. He never parodied his subjects, but rendered them with loving artistry and affection. I hope I managed some of his humanity in this drawing. 060
Michael Richards @certainline.bsky.social · 19/01/2025Allow me to add my own tribute to the late David Lynch. What was inspiring about Lynch, to my mind, was the fervour and commitment he brought to everything he did. Whether it was film, or painting, or music, or just being David Lynch, he plunged right in there. 240
