Okay, so headed out for my buddy's wedding without any real art progress. That's my bad. A lot of it is the same old: work, keeping my house running, and FE. I'm not holding my breath, but I am optimistic upon my return home that I'll have some additional time to work on everything.

Just finished Cai's part 1 and holy shit man. Like it's not the greatest story in a game, but damn if that wasn't a narratively satisfying arc. The rest of the routes are really going to have their work cut out for them.

What I'll give them is how they give player freedom with a set toolbox within a sandbox environment. The problem is they've become the bulk of indie 3D platformers. Trends and all, so in time that will change of course. But it proves the point that GOOD 3D platformer level design is difficult.
