As part of unemployment, I did an interest and skills evaluation today. The interest evaluation says I should go into the theater in a support role - makeup, audio, etc. The skills evaluation says I should write code or go into AV wrangling. 1/6

Related to my last post, I am now the custodian for my Great Aunt's Subaru Baja. So I have a 20+ year old vehicle that needs some love. If I had more savings, I'd make it a personal project, but brake pads and fluids and filters and the tools to do it myself cost money.

It's been a rough couple of months. I'm job searching, again. I stopped putting in applications until I can get my resume re-written, but I've gotten back almost 50% rejections and 0% interviews/follow-ups.

Sorry for bailing two weeks in a row for Wednesday Night Stream, but I won't be on tonight either. I went and grabbed `ceridwen42.com` and am going to spend the evening getting that setup to point to my Linktree, Twitch, and #ExtraLife profiles.

Episode 3 of the new Bridgerton season had to have been partially written by Suzi Izzard. I am surprised Lady Bridgerton didn't just ask Lord Anderson if he liked bread and offer up French Loaf.

Being the one who does laundry (litter boxes are in the room) and changes the litter boxes, I've gone nose blind to the odor unless it's strong. So I didn't notice some kitty has been going on the 60-year-old wood floor in the living room, right by my usual chair. 🤢

It's Extra Life season and I have _no_ plans. Having always participated and coordinated with my co-workers, the job change this year has me mostly on my own. Should I do a 24-straight marathon, a 3x10 weekend, or...? #extralife #vtuber #charitystream

Wednesday's #extralife stream is _probably_ going to be demos or Satisfactory - most of the BG3 team have prior engagements. I was thinking either the new Voyager game's demo, or a couple demos from NextFest I downloaded today to have ready. www.extra-life.org/participants...

Dear MAGA, You want women to have more kids? You aren't going to like this, but here's how you actually do it: 1. Implement universal healthcare so it doesn't cost thousands of dollars to give birth. 2. Reverse abortion bans so treatment for miscarriage and pregnancy problems isn't criminalized.

Someone off-BlueSky mentioned John Brown, so I got curious. The town where John Brown went to school and strengthened his belief in abolition... That was largely middle class blue-collar until recently, voted for Trump. 51.2% to 46.4%. His hometown just a bit North of there, however, did not.
