"Indies will save us" No! YOU WILL SAVE INDIES! Go leave a review for that neat indie game you like, share the trailer for an upcoming game you're anticipating, tell your fave developer they did a good job, go tell people about such and such game that's just come out, you can make a difference!

Happy 40th Anniversary to my favorite game series! I haven’t forgotten about Metroid Variant, but my original indie comic took priority for a good bit of time. All of Episode 3’s inks are done tho! Here’s my favorite shot of Samus.

I made a prequel issue for my comic series for Free Comic Book Day! Stop by Big Bang Comics and Collectibles in Sewickley, Pa on May 2nd if you want a free physical copy. I will also have a table where I’ll do commissions as well. I’ll also upload a link that day to download a digital copy.

A physical copy of the comic. It shows lineart of the protagonist with the title of the story, “Do Not Read” covering his eyes.

"I couldn't afford to pay an artist" is not an excuse to use AI. You can learn to draw it yourself instead of stealing. That's a choice. If someone needs their house painted, but can't afford it, they do it themselves. They don't expect it for free. Art has value like everything else.

Bad news: Variant episode won’t be up tonight. Good news: It has twice as many panels as the original thumbnails.

Honestly, planning to upload the next episode of Metroid Variant the day before Thanksgiving was silly. It’s probably going to upload a few days later. I apologize.

ACe @ceres-animation.bsky.social · 23/10/2025

I’m probably separating Metroid Variant to it’s own bluesky later so this main is solely for my professional art. Gonna try to post more often as well.
