I, too, would make a snarky post about being a furry in aviation (helping to keep your power plants running btw) but my main aircraft is entering week 3 of maintenance purgatory because SOMEONE did an oopsie

I am NOT locking in on my assignments. I am thinking about MIG-29 FULCRUM.

Ensuring this V850 can NEVER BE SOLD AGAIN. The stickerblasting WILL continue, because having a furry film lab is FUNNY.

There's something really satisfying about a giant pot of food nearly overflowing. Anyway, this is my first attempt at Tom Kha soup. I had to sub out some of the more indigenous ingredients but it still came out pretty good!

With moving into a new place, my minilab has gotten a bit of an upgrade

I'd forgotten how stressful moving is. It's definitely worth it, but I'm ready to have this over with already.

Nancy Grace Roman!! Shot on my last roll of Vision 3 250D AHU and cross processed in C41. Used my Canon EOS-3 and 70-200mm for these.

Shot the Nancy Grace Roman launch this morning on my last roll of Vision 3 250D AHU with a 70-200. Stay tuned.

The early bird gets... well, nothing special, really.

The captain and XO of the MCRN Scirocco, raging against the onslaught of UNN torpedoes and gauss rounds in high orbit over Ganymede. Art by the ever-so-talented meljaxz. To Daniel and Ty: Your characters have kept me company through the best and worst of times. Thank you.

It's really hard to go back to another 35mm body after using the Canon EOS-3. Fuck, it just spoils me.

After half a year of procrastinating, I finally redid my portfolio website. Now I can happily forget about it for another year or so.

And some environmental shots to wrap up...

That was only my third ever con (and second time at MP), but it was by far my favorite. Even without my own suit, just being able to handle for my friends made me incredibly happy. This was a real breath of fresh air between my summer and fall classes. I love you guys.

My stupid raptor son can't even fucking stand up

A couple of random shots from today on the Fuji. Most of my stuff has been on film this con, so that'll take a while.

Zero sleep, enroute to Megaplex, thankfully TSA didn't ruin my film

In a perfect world, I would have a popemobile-type setup where I could be driven around and see my subjects. But seeing as a Toyota Hilux cannot be peace bonded, I will instead require one slave who carries me.

050

Cerephus @cerephus.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

No suit but you'll find me carrying THIS at Megaplex. (I am the one true GS-1 photographer, and if I see anyone else with one, we'll be doing 20 paces at dawn.)

I shall now proceed to scan my own medium format film. This also serves as an excellent excuse to screw myself over with 4x5 later in life.

Pretty view approaching Asheville, NC at 9,000 feet.

I've used a Fuji X100VI as my main digital camera since the end of 2024, and I'm just now deciding to buy a battery charger before Megaplex.

I can do anything up until the point I look at the Body Battery level on my Garmin watch. After that, it's over. I die instantly.

I live in a fantasy world where Mars-Passat didn't suck total ass and 3K95 Kinzhal was actually finished on time. This post is sponsored by Baku lovers worldwide.

Campsite. More playing around with the Ektar-100 sim and the 50mm conversion lens. My back hurts

Cerephus @cerephus.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

Screwing around with en Ektar-100 film sim on the X100VI. It's not exactly right by gut feel, but I think the vibes are still there. Using the 50mm conversion lens for this btw.
