This is a completely unrelenting fever dream. I felt my lips drying up and cracking as I watched Nic Cages' face being seared in the suns rays. A little bit herzog and lynch at times, happy to see Cage doing more weird shit.

Underwhelming execution overall but still worth a watch, plenty of twists and turns, acting was better than expected for the most part.

Looking for more mutuals, if you're into movies (especially genre stuff like horror and Sci fi), or if you're into comics/manga and/or video games, give me a follow and I'll follow back. ✌️

So many scammers on this app already. Such a shame.

Really love the #Invincible show but there's a few pieces of dialogue they removed/re-phrased which I think changes the way people will view characters. Particularly taking out Cecil threatening to kill Mark, and the reveal that Cecil/GDA covered up Darkwings crimes...

It's stupid that special effects and sound effects have the same abbreviation (sfx).

I bet doom scroll meant something way cooler in the middle ages.

A lot of chatter on that other app about "bed rot". That's for scrubs. Real pros like me don't need to be horizontal, we are rotting perpetually.

Just watched this, had very low expectations due to the reviews on aggregate sites. But I was pleasantly surprised. Acting is kinda ropey at parts but thats to be expected from lower budget movies. The story had some holes too but the concept was really fun and the pacing was superb.

Not at all what I was expecting from a Shudder Original. Not so much a horror movie, more a dark coming-of-age dramedy. Worth checking out though. It's an oddly wholesome movie.

#NowWatching I hope the promo art is accurate and the car actually has fangs...

This is your annual reminder that Hector Salamanca was Ave Venturas landlord.

"The number one movie at the box office on your 10th birthday is how 2025 will turn out for you." This can't be good... 😅

Tried watching this but its really bad. The story is fine but the lighting and audio mixing is some of the worst I've ever come across. The murdering couple were pretty good actors but everyone else were varying degrees of mediocre. Do not recommend.

I keep a list of movies I want to watch and often feel paralysed by indecision. Sometimes I think I'm not in the mood to watch a movie of a particular genre/setting but then when I start watching it I get sucked in. I need to spend less time deciding what to watch and more time just watching.

#NowWatching #RagingGrace "An undocumented Filipina immigrant lands a job as a care-worker for a terminal old man, securing a better life for her and her daughter. But a dark discovery threatens to destroy everything she's strived for and holds dear."

It's more of a drama with horror elements but it still fits imo as it mostly serves as a love letter to the genre and everyone who was obsessed with horror movies as a kid. Also, it was made on a budget of less than $8,000.

This is a really good movie. Tight 90 minute story with some great performances. Definitely recommend.

#NowWatching #ThePassenger Pretty much going in blind to this one. Aside from the poster art I've seen nothing about it.

#NowWatching I'm not that familiar with Mickles filmography, I've only seen Stake Land (won free tickets back in the day). Going in with tempered expectations.

#NowWatching or more accurately, "rewatching" I loved this one the first time I saw it, but I haven't seen it in 5 years or so. I hope it holds up on second viewing.

Lads and lassies that vape #weed whats your take on dynavap products? I bought the Woodwynd. Love the aesthetic, very lightweight. But its my first time using a vape that isn't battery operated. Idk how I feel about it. Any tips on most efficient ways to heat it up? Or tips on keeping it clean?

Loving Metaphor: ReFantazio so far. Only 12 hours in but the art style and the music are great.
