Having a trade deficit means you need them more than they need you .. and you're probably richer than them. Having a trade surplus means you don't have strong buying power because you sell but don't buy. He's bankrupting the US after personally profiting from deals- fleecing the public.

On a national level, the electoral college makes people feel like their vote doesn't count.... It feeds and enables a sense of powerlessness. Hopefully some of the local races are waking people up.

I cried that day- and many times after that when I remembered Christa McAuliffe and the Challenger. Knowing a teacher was going into space made it hit so close to home as an elementary school student. It still moves me to this day to remember.

Wait until he finds out about all of the free Washington DC museums.... That any old visitor can just walk in and see amazing works of art. It made me proud to be a taxpayer, knowing that we also fund museums, not just death and destruction around the world.
