THANK GOODNESS!!! 😭😭😭 Now to try and got the inside of our homes to cool asap which is not as easy as it sounds 🙃

Weather predictions that shows daytime temperatures between 24 and 27°C for the week (which is a reprieve from the high 30s to nearly 40 of the week before)

For context: 22°C is considered warm for June here and it's currently 32°C inside my apartment. And it's going to be that way until Saturday night at the very best ☠️

A screenshot if the current weather that says: 38°C, sunny, highest day temperature 38°C, highest night temperature 22°C, severe warning for high temoeratures, feels like 42°C, wind at 8km/h, 34% humidity, dew point at 19°C.

Using food to show where I grew up. With a special mention to chocolate which I didn't include in the picture because that's too obvious 🍫

Belgian fries served in a paper cone with mayo on top of them.

Pot of mussels, usually cooked in a broth of greens in its simplest form but with many potential extras. Usually served with fries.

Vol-au-vent: chicken and mushrooms in a broth based cream sauce served in a salted puff pastry. Often served with fries, mashed potatoes or other forms of potatoes (sometimes with rice instead)

Belgium's two most known and popular waffles. Left one is 'gaufres de Liège' ('Luik wafel' in Dutch) and right is 'gaufres de Bruxelles' ('Brusselse wafel' in Dutch)
First one is usually eaten plain or sometimes with chocolate, second one comes with all kinds of toppings when just a bit of powdered sugar is not enough.
