With the Chocobo finished I've fallen prey to the "what do I stitch next" so many pattern l, kits and ideas to pick from but no idea what 😆 On a plus side today's delivery driver brought me a pastry from the bakery down the road after we finished tipping the pallets from the lorry

I was missing one of the colours for a cross stitch that I am currently doing on 18ct fabric So I thought why waste a trip to the haberdashery and not get anything extra 😀 which is why I should be supervised 😆

I actually have never used grids when stitching but I appreciate how useful it can be If you notice in the photo there's two folds in the fabric that helped me find the middle of the fabric. From there I will then start at that point and work outwards usually doing the outline first then colours

Its easier to hold onto and with the right needle not that much different to sew on I think the only thing I find annoying the most is when ending the thread or colour sometimes I can't quite pull the thread through the back without using something else to pull the needle

I honestly can not believe how lucky me and the other half have been out of 14 mystery boxes for shrek lego minifigures we have found all 12 with just 2 doubles Okay so we have Pinocchio 3 times which also means we have 6 blind mice XD but we actually have a full set of minifigures 😆

There's one called WinStitch/ MacStitch you can get it free with a few restrictions or pay for a full version which I found easy to use Ive also used FlossCross online which also was easy to use
