The internal scan LEDs came on gradually. Usually it was done when the baby was sleeping or facing away so it wouldnt startle them.
Lavenders condition however meant such precautions were unnecessary and the LEDs inside her uterus just popped on. She could clearly see the outline of several ovoid shapes floating inside her womb.. They werent too big over all, but there sure were a lot of them.

She sighed and lifted her breasts to look down t her now glowing belly.

Lavender stopped for a moment, she had been waiting for this update in her HUD for a little bit. Curious as to what would happen next.
She figured there would be a couple options.

1 - the error would clear, and proceed as normal. Which meant she would give birth to.. whatever was inside her. She knew, the UTERUScanner was working, she could see in her HUD that there was nothing in her belly except some things that looked like eggs, and a LOT of amniotic fluid.

2 - the error would persist, and she would just be stuck this way.. Not that she would mind that either. She kinda liked the special treatment she got from it. Selfish, yes, but people were so much nicer to her now that she looked HUGELY pregnant.

3 - the error would force a reboot at the end of its cycle. Which is exactly what seems to have happened. Though, she wasnt expecting that it would expect her to go 'OVERDUE' and just keep going.
Lavender wasnt adverse to getting bigger, and it certainly seemed like that was the route she was on now.

Next question.. how long will THIS last.?

She can see in her HUD scan when she closes her eyes and thinks about it. Theres nothing in her womb except fluid and some ovoid shapes like eggs.

Will the status error clear when she reaches full term?
Will the status error keep going, not realizing that the program is ended.?
Will her biology help to trigger something, or is the cyberware in control of that too.?

AU Story Working for the foundation is pretty cool sometimes. They recently did a recruitment drive, and Astoria posed for a 'Rosie the riveter' style poster. Now she's recognizably famous, and it nearly doubled the amount of folks signing up with the foundation to help the re-population effort.

Some months ago, Astoria was asked to do a photo shoot for a recruitment drive for the foundation. She did it gladly, doing several poses, in several uniform types.
The folks in HR decided to go with the Rosie the Riveter style image. polka dot hair ribbon and all..

Still a little strange to see herself on a poster where ever she goes.

We had to stop over at an interstellar truck stop of sorts. Steves ship needed to refuel, which takes a bit of time. So a little lay over is in order.

Space pilots from all over the galaxy stop here to refuel their cruisers, haulers, sun divers, and luxury space yachts..

There is a nice G type star in the system, and the orbital dock has a nice environ sim area.. A sunny beach sprawl with some simulated ocean front. This particular area of it is an Earth like environment.. Real live air and everything!

Story @ 30ish weeks please wait.. loading Since shes not on ACTIVE duty Astoria has had more gaming time She spends a lot of time waiting Waiting means the twins convince her to nibble on whatever They can sometimes be pretty impatient "Choccy mother" "After this boss fight" "CHOCCY NAO MOTHER!"

Astoria leaned back into the large over stuffed pillow chair while she waited for the cut scene to end.
She rested the controller on top of her belly while she waited, she could feel her baby girl moving under her hand in her womb. She wasnt kicking her now, but when she got into the thick of the boss battle, THAT was when she would probably get rowdy.. which would wake her brother, which would make this boss fight doubly hard, since he was downstairs from his sister in her womb, and usually managed to step on her bladder while his sister kicked mom in the ribs.
..she was starting to crave something sweet, and salty.. maybe some choccy.. maybe some pepperoni.. or summer sausage. ..together..? maybe.. Astoria sighed, her cravings were getting odd.. Just then her girl kicked her in the ribs and she winced.
"ok.. ok.. choccy after this boss fight love." she said to her gravid middle.
She got kicked again, harder now.
"fine fine.. Ill pause it and get you some choccy now.." she sighed, though she still had to wait for the cut scene to end.
