I just saw the world’s worst take on the Neil Gaiman allegations (see image). Um no. This is not the answer. We can hold Gaiman and others accountable without endorsing AI. I agree that we shouldn’t separate the art from the artist. But we should be able to separate the artist from all other art.

Like I get that there’s no one else. And I don’t think that the shaman religion/cultural practice should be eradicated by any means. But so much of Rin’s rage was born from how people manipulated and used her to enact violence and consolidate power in their wars. Kuang is so good at showing how war/violence/power are cyclical.
